Over hear we have a service called "Where's my ride". It cost $200 or $250 a year.

I log into my account on the net and it pin points the exact location it is now and history of where it has been. Tracked by 7-9 Satelites.

Whilst it's mooving it reports every 60 seconds or less and even provides the speed and direction of the vehicle.

I'll be subscribing again in Feb when it comes up.

I'm lucky enough to have comprehensive, 3 point and clublock.

But this "where's my ride" is the most valuable to me. If I only had $250 to spend then this would be it.

That is a stupid f**king idea. So once they realise they don't have the right car they slap a defect on it.

hey if my car was stolen I'd want police doing this.. If the cars detectable they will get defected regardless, I got pulled over just yesterday and cops didn't even think to check for a defect, and I have no back seat in the car. You must meet some really f**k witted cops that are just out for defects, i only ever meet decent ones when im pulled over in the Skyline, and my cars got defectable problems all through it.

THE CAR HAS BEEN FOUND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cops just called and told us that the car has been found in Pt Adelaide. It was used to rob the Belair hotel. Getting processed, but apparently theres a fair bit of console damage and concrete blocks on the backseat.

Good to hear it has been found but not good to hear what has happened to it. Hopefully insurance comp isn't nasty to you mate

Car was apparently last seen on king William rd before tye on the runt 1am on Australia day, had mud or dirt spray from all 4 wheels on the doors and rear panels, please if anyone see's this call the cops straight away or follow it and then call the cops. They have obviously changed the plates so I don't know how the cops will find out that it's stolen :/

That could had been me... I was in that exact spot at that exact time and my car was filthy...

I also got pulled over and questioned Sunday morning by the cops thinking it was your car as I drive a white 32 GTR.

You should really post some pictures up if you want people to spot it for you. Pictures tell a thousand words! If I happen to spot a white 32 GTR with some kind of wheels that look like SSR's, I'd probably think to myself "nice car... could be that one posted as stolen... probably not...", and I'd keep walking.

Another very similar situation to yours last year with an R31 that got pinched. Few pics were posted up, and people knew exactly what to look for. I even spotted it myself. And it was eventually recovered!

Were you wearing a hat? And do you have a goatie? My mate said that's all he saw just figured it was mine, just hoping..

Yeah I'll have to get some pics up tonIght, always on my phone so it's a bit hard just really hope it turns up really soon :/

    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
    • Any going to watch World Time Attack at SMSP this year?
    • Appreciate the correction on the "ground", that will make a huge difference to looking at this. That makes complete sense about AF70/AF71 which is what I had come down to being the issue, one of these. I'll have another look in the ignition wiring when I get a chance next week. I'll also make up a jumper wire for running that AF73 test.  ECU is fine, relay itself is fine, pump harness is fine and the pump itself is fine. I am going to upgrade the Walbro 255 anyway with a DW300 I have since I need to replace the fuel sender and I'm going to upgrade the FPR with my chasebays kit ready for new plenum/injectors/dbw, but I'll get this working first. That's why this is so frustrating.
