We found the end of power at 23.5 psi. These are the last few pulls adding timing.

Precision 6766CEA ball bearing turbo. We are also working on a prototype exhaust housing " variable vane" to bring down the power band.

Ported head, 270 cams, Full Race with my waste gate setup on it I like heat away from the intake side, factory intake 1000cc Injector Dynamics , all the normal and a few tricks. I'm going to put another intake on and see what happens. And try some 110 cct.

Here's a vid for fun of a 2nd gear pull. Dyno tune was done in 4th funny how a tune changes in second.

it would be hitting differet load points in 2nd on the dyno unless running a really slow ramp rate

Not a bad output for the boost and fuel.

Looks laggy though 23psi at 5750rpm and only revving to 8000rpm?

What is is that attached to the rear housing of the turbo?

Where you looking/working out boost?

Just going off 90mph where it looks like everything starts to happen... 90mph = 145kph = 5180rpm (300rwkw)

I can't exactly remember what speed 4th gear pulls, but that RPM doesn't seem right to me. That would make 4th gear top at 195KM/H at 7000RPM...

If you are sure that 145kph is 5180rpm then this graph is almost identical to my graph. Same response, same power.

Well not 100% sure, just using Paulr33's old RPM calculation.

Could well be wrong! :)

By those same number 142mph / 228kph / 8150rpm

Can't remember what 8000rpm is in 4th on my car off the top of my head

Me either - cant remember exactly what it is.

Piggaz is good with gearing, enlighten sir paul :D

8000 RPM on our car is 235 IIRC.

Oh. I just had a search around and found a word document I have saved over the years.

145 kp/h isssss... 4850 RPM according to this.

3000 RPM = 85 HP

3500 RPM = 120 HP

4000 RPM = 160 HP

4500 RPM = 240 HP

5000 RPM = 415 ish HP

5500 RPM = 470 ish HP

6000 RPM = 545 HP

6500 RPM = 610 HP

7000 RPM = 660 HP

7500 RPM = 700 HP

7900 RPM or so = 733 HP

* Going off the brown line

    • Yea - I mean I've seen my fuel pump which is decades old and uh, while I'm not saying this with real knowledge... but I sure get the ick at using anything in the fuel system that produced the state of that pump. Many years ago I went through multiple pumps (and strainers) before I dropped the tank to clean it out with extreme violence. I'm talking the car would do maybe 50km before coming to a halt, which resulted in me cleaning out the filter with some brake cleaner and going on my way. None of my stuff ever looked like what came out of your fuel tank. I don't think I'd be happy with it unless every single component was replaced (or at least checked/cleaned/confirmed to be clean here).
    • I'm not going to recommend an EBC pad. I don't like them. Just about anything else would suit me better. I've been using Intima pads for a while now.
    • Agreed, and in particular the earth strap that should go from the subframe to the chassis but it often broken or left off. There is a section in the R32 workshop manual you can follow for troubleshooting if you don't see anything suspicious, and depending where you are (there is no location on your user profile) you should be able to get your hands on a second hand replacement unit still if needed
    • Yeah they mention as a R34 for 2.5 Turbo...but then again thos "small" were also for R34 by that different site. But i look into it and that 310mm EBC is for R34 GTT. And by those you linked the specs are the same 🙂    EDIT: I found these on one site here: DBA 4000 series T3 DBA42304S They are 310mm...and it says are for R34GTT...are there good? EDIT2: ok they have pads too.  What "color" should i get for street use? I dont want/need some noisy ones...(and if they are not that dusty that is good too)
    • Yeah, shame. Maybe  driver's carpet is available 🙏. I am waiting for both amayama and nangun to confirm.
