Hi guys my wedding is coming up on Saturday 17th of November & I would like to get 3 big horsepower GTR's to drive from my place in Kingsgrove to leichhardt church with 1-2 passengers & get some photos taken at the church. You will only be needed for 2-3 hours & we can come to an agreement in PM about payment.

For anyone intererested these are the cars I'm looking for;

- 1 r32 GTR

- 1 r34 GTR

- & either another r32 or r35

Thanks in advance & you're more than welcome to put on a little show if you want haha.

Stephen

I would be happy to get an r32, r33 & r34 but the the others I prefer thats all. I'm looking for cars with about 500hp that have the looks to go with it.

Things I'm not looking for are cars with fancy colours eg. pink paintwork, big chromies or bodykits that wreck the image of the car (No offence to people into that sort of stuff it's just I'm not :),

The price I have in my head to thank the guys that are willing to come down I think is good for the time they are required & obviously they wont be driving for anywhere near 2-3 hours.

you may get more replies if you lower your requirement for 'big hp'.. pardon my ignorance but unless you are exchanging rings on a dyno or having your reception at WSID, why would hp matter?

Hi ecl

I see your point, the power figure I mentioned doesnt have to be met to the exact figure, a 300kw gtr is ample power :) but I would like a GTR that is well maintained & makes some decent power for my wedding.

You have an r35 gtr so you're already close enough to that figure :action-smiley-069:

i doubt any gtr owner is going to be ripping burn outs "for your wedding" for a couple hundred bucks haha

just get something with a loud exhaust and cam timing and itll sound like anything you can imagine.

The owners can do as they please & I'm paying more than a couple of hundred dollars for their services which they are only needed for 2 hours (the cars will only be driven 30-40 mins worst case scenario).

There is very little they have to do on the day.

1 - They have to drive from my place to the church which is 20-30 mins away with abit of traffic.

2 - Some photos will more than likely be taken at the church then after the church service they are free to go as I have other cars picking us up from the church.

Honestly did not think it was going to be that hard to organise 3 clean GTR's making some decent power.

Just to be clear, you are not paying for a service, else the owners would have to be registered drivers etc. You may be shouting them a few beers :)

I think part of the problem in getting cars is your first request and the implied performance work you want done, as well as needing cars with very good paint to look the best in photo's.

Apart for being too far away and having the wrong model GTR as per your request, I only have "normal" paint, I don't want to be hassled by RTA as a wedding makes you high profile, and I certainly don't want some moron saying light it up dude. I'd say others may have similar issues.

If you don't want the cars to do performance work, then ask for 3 clean GTR's regardless of power.

PS R33 for the win.

Just going to clear things up...

I said I would like to get some big horsepower cars, it's not that much of a necessity but it's just what I wanted. I would rather 3 clean gtr's over banged up big horsepower ones.

Some guys have been nice enough to respond to me/help me out & I'd like to thank them, nothing is concrete but I appreciate their interest anyway.

PS - I do like r33's I like all GTR's, I regret leaving them out of my list :(

Mate congratulations on the big day first of all!

And all you guys giving him slack its one of the guys biggest days of his life and he wants it to be remembered hence the requiest for a LOUD and POWERFUL GTR. Mate if i had a 32 id gladly rip the 4WD fuse out and light the entire street gutter to gutter for you , unfortunately with a 34 im pretty useless and can only sit there looking pretty reving out of dropped pipes lol..

Thank you matt

Sure Sure, no one loves the lady with the hips.

Best of luck with the big day and the rest of your life. Just remember where the skyline comes in the priorities :)

They all need loving ;)

I'll start looking for another r32GTR vspecII for myself mid next year once things settle down. This one will be for keeps so I will take my time. I also want to get more active within the community.

I signed up for my membership on here last monday, still waiting not sure how long it takes?

Thanks for the kind words & don't worry I make it very clear where the skyline will stand when I get another haha.

@ MsR - Thankyou for the offer I'll get back to you if I need another :)

    • I wanted to try and preserve the front bumper as long as possible, they're not cheap and are made to order in Japan. Taking inspiration from my previous K11 Micra build where I made an undertray for the Impul bumper, I did the same for this BN Sports bumper but a little slimmed down.  This time round I only made a 'skid plate' (if that's the correct wording/term) for just the bumper surface area, the Micra version covered the gap like an undertray. Starting off with a sheet of mild steel approx. 0.9mm thick 4ft x 2ft in size. I traced around the bumper, cut it out and cleaned the edges. Luckily I was able to get two halves from one piece of metal In the video I installed it as is, but I've since then I've removed it to spray and add a rubber edging trim. The rubber trim is suitable for 1-2mm and it's a really nice tight fit. The bolts had to be loosened due to the plates being too tight against the bumper, the trim wouldn't push on I used some stainless M6 flat headed bolts for a flusher finish (rather than hex heads poking down), I believe this style fastener is used for furniture too incase you struggle to source some. The corner's are a little wider, but this may be an advantage incase I get close to bumping it  The front grill got some attention, finally getting round to repairing it. Upon removal one fixing pulled itself out of the plastic frame, one side is M8 that fixes inside of the frame, where as the other side is M5. Not knowing I could get replacements, I cut down an M8 bolt, threaded it inside the frame along with a decent amount of JB Weld.  The mesh was replaced to match the bumper. One hole on the bonnet/hood had to be drilled out to 8mm to accommodate the new stud, once the glue had set it could be refitted. I think the reason the grill was double meshed was to hide the horn/bonnet latch (which makes sense) but I much prefer it matching the bumper Bumper refitted and it's looking much better IMO The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVZP35io9MA
    • The video for the servicing and fuel filter change can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uLJ65pmQt44 One of the main jobs I wanted to do before the car officially went on the road, was to remove the awful looking blue silicone hoses. There's nothing wrong with having coloured silicone hoses, but I realise as I'm getting older I prefer monotone engine bays with a splash of colour on the engine cover(s). I cover this in a lot more detail in the Youtube video, so unfortunately there's limited photos of the process. The intercooler, upper radiator, boost vacuum and upper breather hoses were all changed to black silicone with mikalor clamps. The only blue left is a blanking cap at the back of the inlet manifold and the GReddy pulleys (which will be replaced for stock when the cambelt gets replaced) While the intercooler pipes were off I gave them a quick clean/polish too A before photo I do have a replacement air filter on its way. Fuse box covers were painted blue, they're now satin black Another job on the list while the bumper was off, is to add some mesh https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54737966256_99b28bfa30_c.jpg[/img] I was hoping to use some thin wire to secure it, but it seems I've misplaced it and the wire I had was too thick to twist easily. I ended up using cable ties for the time being https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54737131882_c2b7989dcc_c.jpg[/img] Was pleasant to see this https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/54737131627_8b2aab13b3_c.jpg[/img] The last thing to do was to fix the front grill and re-mesh that to match but I ran out of time The Youtube video can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R4FsF6tgizE&t=23s
