Just wanted to give some positive feedback on my recent service at ERD! They really go beyond your normal service needs every time. I have used them for the last two years including getting my clutch replaced by them and they are top class! Will not take my skyline any where else! I took my R33 there on Monday to get thermostat replaced as it was buggered and also gearbox and diff oil changed. I was going to change the thermostat myself but couldnt get to it cause of my aftermarket plenum but it was no sweat for these guys. Very reasonably priced as well!

Cheers Daniel! See you soon to get my exhaust modified

  • 3 weeks later...

Just an update. I have managed to take my car for the first decent drive since getting it back from Dan and the guys at ERD. I needed to get a 100,000km service done and while in the process of that getting done the guys found some minor and major issues wrong with the car. The car was only meant to be there for 1 to 2 days but once Dan contacted me with the major issues I got him to do those as well so it took abit longer. The communication from the guys was great and they called me to check if it was ok to do the work when a problem arose. We worked out a plan on to take care of the stuff that needed doing right away and we grouping things together in the future to save on labor costs. Now back to why I am updating this it is because I got to drive my car for the first time since getting all the work done by Dan and guys at ERD and the car has never felt so good to drive. All my major issues are gone and the car has more power now (I had a failing fuel pump) and i couldn't be happier with the quality of the workman ship and the communication from the guys. I'm not really mechanical minded but the guys try to show the problems they fixed and explain everything to make sure you understand why something needs doing and the effects of what can happen if not done.

All in all I have found a workshop where I am confident that when my car goes in it will be left in the best hands it can be so thanks once again to Dan and the guys down at ERD.

I used to be a bit of a loner before I took my car to ERD. A rebel without a cause, with nothing to lose. I also had trouble making friends and talking to women.

Then I took my car to ERD. Now I am married, have twins and have over 200 Facebook friends.

Thank you ERD

You forgot to mention you used to be an 80 lb dystrophic weakling who got sand kicked in your face at the beach until you went to ERD, Now you look like Arnie.

I used to go to the gym regularly and eat right, but then I just started going to ERD and had better results.

I will be taking my car there again hopefully next week, if I find time, for a bit more work.

Hey when you goto ERD/EFI there is no shit talking you are just enlightened onto a whole other level where the world around you does not understand the awesomeness that you have now become so to them it may appear your talking shit but to the chosen few, the enlightened children the spoken words breathe hope and truth into a world with no light to shine the way.

I used to be asian. After meeting Dan, I turned Fiji-Indian.

I was there it was amazing, he also turned his R34GTT into an R34 VspecII GTR

Its a shame he used all his morphing powers on Choy I was next.

    • If you mean the alarm immobiliser; theyre internal to the alarm itself which makes that difficult; I couldnt even see where he put it; its not in the same place as last time; but with all black wiring it might be very challenging to trace  I had someone turn the key for me as I know it only primes for a couple of seconds As my post above; I am getting no voltage to the pump at all; but I am testing continuity of the power line (SB) from the pump plug to the relay fine. As well as the negative from the pump plug to a 12V constant.    Yeah; he blammed the no start on a bad battery; said I needed to get a new battery and it'll start. Turns out the battery drained because the tail lights had been on for half the day during the install (the rubber cushion on the brake switch gave out while he was testing it as I have a picture of the car from that morning with the tail lights off..i've replaced that). The battery was turning over the engine just fine for a long time; but got low since lights were draining it so it was too low to test a start after he finished. I bought a new one on his advice...$250 wasted. My original battery charged up just fine and is healthy.    It was running perfectly fine when I messed up the old alarm (programmed out the remotes). He couldnt start it after removing the old alarm; my assumption is that when he unhooked it; he didnt bridge the circuit back when trying to start it. Its always been perfectly fine. The ECU swap and pump were 2 years ago. It's never missed a beat in that time.
    • This is a big issue for me without the diff. I just have zero drive from the passenger side when drivers side has no traction. Bec's parents place has a crazy steep driveway with odd camber and I have never been able to get up. My bro-in-law's 130i with an (unknown brand) LSD gets up fine as does their dad's Hiace. My car stays at the bottom. We have other odd camber roads around here as we're elevated a bit and if it's raining I can get totally stuck around some hairpins.
    • Yeah, I am super excited for this.
    • Was the car running before he touched the car?
