Carwash Soap Doesnt Sub Up Well

Recommended Posts

practical advice, no harm in over-accessing as there really is no such thing, silver also happens to be the most flattering colour when it comes to blemishes and scratches

lol science of washing a car...

Wanna know how I do it? $5 Armorall heavy duty wash and a $2 jumbo sponge. 4 caps in a regular bucket as you're filling it with water. Clears the sinuses and as a bonus it also cleans your car. Squirt panel with water, soap it up, squirt again.

Put some effort into waxing and the washing part won't need to be rocket science. On that note, I use a $7 paste wax that continues to bead after 6 months. Come at me premium products:

I'll one-up Birds for tightass-ism.

I use morning fresh detergent, and just a simple hand polish if needed - see below example

Paint job @ this point was straight off the gun, totally un-sanded/cut. Just simply washed with good ole dishie detergent and chamois dried :)

That said though i did see Waxit (SAU Trader) for some products to clean the exhaust/fuel stains off the rear of the GTR, but that is a different story (product worked very well I must say).

Dish soap strips wax !! cleans the car filth but dulls the wax job

Armour all !! Really who uses that crap on anything ?

same as kitten ?

A paint job costs a mint in oz and you want to save a few bucks ? price a paint job that will change your mind

Never use a sponge !! It traps dirt and saves it for scratching , microfiber towls rinsed out often and washed after each use " without fab softener !" It causes smears
