Husky33
all i do is bench, deadlift, and pullups....sometimes squat when i'm not being lazy. Seriously i struggle to spend more than 40 minutes in the gym these days. But i have abs....how does that work??? Cmon guys, by now you should all know abs/being lean/ripped whatever you want to call it, is all diet. You can squat 300kg's and be fat, and you can squat 300kg's and be ripped. The weights don't give a shit about your physique, they just want to be lifted. You alone are in control of your physique. On a side note though, the more muscle you have, the more you can afford to eat junk food and shit....like me eating ice-cream every night Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/9/#findComment-6563211 Share on other sites

NickR33
Thanks to all the judges and spotters/loaders... was great because everything moved so smoothly and quickly cheers for the free Tshirt!... 'This object is the part of this territory' clearly someone in Slovakia was using google translate lol looking at the video I think there was more in my bench and deadlift... pretty sure I maxed the squat though (it was pretty ugly)... Markos did say to take 165kg... so I took 170kg... maybe next time I should listen! anyone who is thinking of having a go definitely should... pretty nice having people you don't know cheer you on... a very different atmosphere than your average gym Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/407502-powerlifting/page/9/#findComment-6568045 Share on other sites
R31Nismoid
Good day out, atmosphere down there indeed really motivating (half the reason for my trip down), some very strong guys for a novice comp. Solid effort Nick, 500kg total, huge! Only took me 35mins to get home Nick, so realistically it's not that far provided traffic isn't farked.
