Its funny how people talk about investing in houses and stuff like that, but when you look at it, even if the bank will only offer you 0.5% p.a. return interest on your 100mil, thats 500K that you earn in interest every year, and even if the government takes 50% in tax off that, i could still comfortably live off 250K a year without the headache of worrying about where my money was being invested into.

Even after a few years you will run out of things to buy or spend money on, unless you just start buying rediculous shit that you will never need.

well more like 3% - 5% depending on the fixed term and bank

I would give some money to my family, because we have never been well off and then term deposit the rest

Im only young, so as I get older I would slowly build up a share/property/car/plane  portfolio

Yeah, i was just saying that even at a measly 0.5% you would make decent money.

Im sure if you went to a major bank and said i have 100mil to deposit, what are you going to do for me? They would probably do even better than 3 to 5%. And in saying that im sure anyone would agree that you could live very, VERY comfortably off that sort of interest...... Well at least i definately know i could.

Here's a deal, if anyone on here wins it, they can keep the 100mil, ill just have your interest returns for the next 10 years and then you can keep it. Deal? ok deal lol. :P

...until AFTER the divorce settlement - and THEN claim the money? :P

Aaah, the dog (man's best friend) will love you - no less & no more than - after your win!

Lol Terry, wife will stay. I would make it my little personal game to see how well I could keep 100m under wraps.

well lets all make a pact, if someone from SAU NSW wins they will build a race track and fit out the new club house all race spec and shit hahaha.

If i was to win, 1 would 1st buy an appartment complex, live on in the penthouse and rent the rest of the building out, make the gorund floor my own personal garrage, or even have a 3 lvl basement, lvl 1 garrage, lvl 2 underground night club, lvl 3 carpark.

You forgot about a dungeon man

IRL, 100mil would for the most part be a curse on most people's mentality/psychology - having all that money at once would create (for most people) a false sense of financial security - would be crazy

would i say no? absolutely not, but you would want to take a snap shot of your current life because it just would not be the same after 100mil - for better or worse

would also be super selective of who i told about the money, as well as how much money i won (bar my mum i''d be hard pressed to tell anyone else i won the full 100mil)

would do stupid shit like buy a Z-tune/E-type Jag/Shelby GT500KR and daily drive them and get a warehouse/house like Jay Leno and fill it up

Tuesday- was on teh news.

And constant lolz at co-worker who buy lotto tickets in the vain hope they will finally win something. Its as mindlessly pointless as poker machines to me.

Perhaps each member should donate $5K, go in for a System 20 with 50 games, cost? $4M just for tickets. We all win, split even and build a 1000 SQM club house, fully furnished and a outback track.

    • Nope.    Grab a varex and turn it down as you get close to home, win win?
    • So, I've had my V36 for about a month now and have already copped an "excessive exhaust noise" notification from QLD TMR, reported by someone in my local area. It's a twin as per the original, and can have a bit of a throaty note to it when idling cold 😄 and if I do get up it a bit, it can be noisy, but it did pass a roadworthy inspection before sale, so.... ... but in the interest of being a good neighbour, I do want to quieten it down a bit. Is anyone here running a quiet aftermarket cat-back on their V36 or 370Z? And the big, bold question: does an aftermarket cat-back really make much of a performance difference on these cars?
    • The wiring diagram for the R33 RB25 is freely available, and is essentially the same same as most other RBs (just with differences as to which pin # does which job). To get the ECU to power up, you just need to provide power to the ECCS relay, and have the other power feeds that come in from the top left of the wiring diagram (wrt the ECU) that give perma power to the fuel pump relay, the ECU itself, etc etc, all connected. When you put power on all these it will just come to life. It's pretty clear from the diagram what needs to happen. Just follow the lines from the 12V + supply stuff in the top left over towards the ECU. I've even posted snips of such diagrams (not for vanilla 25, I think for Neo and 26) to various threads here in the last few months, talking about what it takes to get the fuel pump and FPCM up and going. Search these up and they will help get you started on doing the same with the vanilla 25 diagram. Hell, for all I know, I've done the same with that one in years past and have forgotten.
    • Yep...so unless someone posts up the answer you will need to probe from the ECU connector to the dash plug with a multi meter in continuity mode to trace the wires.  Note the ECU has multiple - and + (and across different key settings - Battery, IGN and Start) and most likely the power is fed from the connector(s) that is normally near the left hand headlight.
    • Thanks Duncan, I am actually just trying to get the Rb turning and running with the RB25DET S2 original loom itself  I am just trying to get it going outside the body and not thinking about the S15 or trying to match anything to the S15 loom at all I am only trying to see if anyone has done this and what pin they found to be the ignition trigger and ECU+/- on the dash connector, that's about it. Thanks
