You cannot just rock up, you need to pre enter. All info and register details are here: http://www.saunationals.com/

Entries have closed already so I would send R31Nismoid a PM and ask if it might be possible to still enter.

Ok folks, so we need to get some equipment down and back to the nationals.

Big items are our cabanas & fire extinguishers. NytDave can you spare the room for them? You're there all weekend, yeah?

If you can't take them, then DIF could we stash them in your rig?

Eric, I'm trailering down with the truck so will have room either in there or in the poopra.

If you bring them to me I will fit them in somewhere.

We'll be heading down on Sunday morning for sns only.

Sadly this will be our last cruise and show attending in my precious gtr as it will be listed for sale next week and at the show.

So anyone of my sau friends looking for clean unmodified '93 gtr please let me know. It will be totaly sad to see her go.

However, I will be more involved stagea boys as I also own nm35 and looking to spend some time on that project now....

What auction grade was the GTR? All original panels/paint etc?

For anyone that might be interested in some spare tyres for the SAU Nationals, I have 4x Nankang NSII 235/17s for sale. $60 each or $200 for the lot. Pickup from SW Sydney or I can bring them down to the Nats with me for the out of area guys.

60-70% tread so will last a fair bit of punishment :)

Hey mate, sorry about late reply, but yes she was grade 4 when I bought this gtr some 4.5 years ago.

Also yes all original panels and paint but has had underbody restoration so it's like new underneath.

Also never boosted or played with engine. Whoever ends up buying this will be very happy for years to come.

I already feel bad for posting this as a lot of man hours and money went into this car.

Ah Dave, long time no talk! Shame to gear that you're selling your GTR, I do remember it being a nice car. Hope to see you down there though :)

Hey Corinne, we'll def catch up down there. I still remember when I first met you back maybe it was 2005 when you were at that real estate in mascot and I thought at the time you had to be the weirdo chick with user name like that "DIF" or death is freedom???

As I've learned later you're top girl and mate to a lot of members here and not to mention almost if not in every post on sau some record I don't know how you rake up that many posts and still hold a job???

Yes the gtr will go to a good home I hope and she is in even better shape now than you know as it's only done like under 10K in four years.

Haha that was so long ago now..

I just guess I'm an excellent multitasker.

I don't suppose you want to swap a commodore for the GTR? Haha.. Miss my little 32, I've gone to the dark side now :P

    • So, version 4 intake is on its way I was looking at these a while ago but at around $200 or more it was a little pricey for something that might not work, but, I had it in my watch list, but, I got a message saying it was on special, and I had a code thingie to use, it eventually came in at $120 delivered, so BAM, BUY NOW.....LOL I'll need to have a look when it arrives but I feel it will "look" better than what I currently have, as it comes with a PCV fitting, so I will be able to get rid of the alloy pipe that goes to the throttle body with the PCV fitting  Well, that's what the voices in my head are telling me  Oh, and this happened today Yeap, it was a Trojan, and it was cheap, so I headed back to the hardware store and actually spent a little bit more on a heavy duty,  one that was actually recommended by a plumber mate, a Cyclone one with a fibreglass handle that is actually rated for clay The broken shovel will eventually be "modified" into a short handle shovel
    • When you pulled it off, there is no signs of blown head gasket? Is it possible you have some other issues going on? Possible cracked blocked? Or do you think it's straight up lifting the head? Did you check what the head was torqued to before pulling it down (To see if possibly they're stretching, or starting to break threads out etc)?
    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
