Just watched Pinkham interview Rosberg, he hadn't heard what Hamilton said on the podium but said it's nice to hear it, and that he completely understands the teams point of view and knows it'd be exactly the same order if it was him in Hamilton's position. He said of course he would've loved to go flat out to the end but that he knows there'll be a time for that. Level headed team player.

Marko told SkySports that he agrees Seb needs to be spoken to as he disobeyed team orders. Horner said pretty much the same thing

I'm sure he won't be punished but at least they aren't hanging Webber out to dry by telling the media that the drivers are free to race to the flag

so what they're saying is that they've favoured him too much and vettel thinking he is better than sliced bread has come back to bite them a little bit

and i think webber would've actually won if he hadn't backed off because he was told to. i wouldn't be surprised if that happened before the last stop, given that vettel was able to close a few second gap in 1 lap on new tyres.

and had they pitted webber before vettel at the last stop i think he would never have gotten close to him

...and in another interview he just gave Seb has just back tracked and claimed he didnt know he wasnt allowed to pass...he didnt know of the agreement and would not have passed if he knew. As soon as he said it he tried to back step a little knowing he had just lied in tv...dumb fark

to me, 2 exact same situations one with the team outcome one with the selfish outcome.

Hamilton told to slow down to conserve petrol, rosberg told not to over take and did the team thing

Webber told "21" and conserve your car, Vettel ignores the request and acts selfeshly.

Two different teams, two very different outcomes.

Selfish, selfish man.

    • Just to be clear, there were no lights or codes when the hiccups were occurring. Also nothing noticeable in the cars' braking. It brakes fine and the dash is clear. I only made the connection when it did throw a code and suddenly, despite the lights, it felt great again.
    • Yeah they are sliders and this was in my head before I worked out it was the speed sensor.
    • Ok so we have a smoking gun.  A few weeks ago I had to replace a speed sensor that I'd fit incorrectly. I replaced the sensor and everything was fine with no lights or codes thrown any longer.  When I was doing some more bedding in yesterday I got ABS and traction control lights again and, considering when this happens those things are disabled, the pedal went back to normal with smooth braking and no hiccups.  The codes thrown are for the same speed sensor that I replaced. When I looked at the sensor I took out it looks like the tip of the sensor is damaged. So whatever happened to it, perhaps it has damaged the magnetic ring on the bearing (that I only replaced the other week). I'll get my boroscope in the hole where the sensor goes and see if there is any damage in there. Hopefully just the tip of the sensor is in there and the bearing is fine. 🤞🏻  It's worth noting also that the pedal hiccup happens more often and for longer periods now and totally goes away when the codes are thrown again which happens usually after 5 or so minutes of driving. Love all your help here as usual guys, thanks!
