Stageas are gas guzzlers and expensive to repair if you crash. Get an economical common car and learn how to service it. The knowledge will come in handy when you graduate to a Stagea!!

I meant the car I could of of gotten hand down was the corona. Now I dont have it. I have to buy a car. which is I m looking at a stagea

Forget it mate. Stageas r expensive to run, repair, maintain, mod and most important insure. Go buy a cheap shitbox first. Rape it, crash it and learn to drive. Then buy a skyline to learn car control and get the turbo traffic light warrior out of your system. Then ur ready to buy a stagea.

expensive to repair.. is that because of the panels? is the parts in the car expensive to acquire?

Well new panels are pretty much not possible. Which means 2nd hand panels and trying to find what u need, when u need it. Then u need to find a panel shop willing to fix it. From personal experience i can tell u 90% of them wont touch it. If u do find 1 that will, u better b prepared to dig deep.

Corona's are the most unbelievably miserable way of getting around that I can imagine. Except maybe an Evo.

I drove one as a daily when I had my angry Weber fed, 2.4l stroker, 180B SSS.

I bought the Corona (still registered) from a mate for $500 over 15 years ago; drove it every day for 3 years, until it was killed by a P plater.

I received $4000 from his insurance company, and went & bought a motorbike.

Not one single tear was shed when it passed.

If you have a love for the Corona; females are completely safe from you. Enjoy your virginity; you'll have it for a long time.

I'm tipping that Corona comes with a chest board and a science calculator.Surely you could be like all the other P-platers and get a $40,000 loan for the latest commodore and be fully sick!

I saw that.

well like post. I'm aiming for something 10-13k from ex work car. cant be fked wprking on it.

edit: well since last post. anything older 5 years old qould be problematic right?

Any car could be problematic. Think of it as a learning experience.

Does ex-work car mean ex-fleet? I wouldnt touch them. I drive fleet cars, and when I look through the log books, most of the trips are 1-4km. The engines have been run cold for a significant portion of their life, perhaps most. I never found the discount on ex fleet cars to be worth it compared to private sales.
