So, Dale spec brace went in. Highly advised to do this with caster bushes and swaybars best shit ever.

My rotors finally arrived and now I'm just looking at what rubber to get I'm aiming for falken 452 in 245/45/18.

Now I've won a few goodies on YAJ :D:D.

Bilsteins with braces :D.

KaKamoto R, its got a dent in the muffler but I think I can get it out somehow.

HEHEHEHE super excitied. The bilsteins are being sea freighted so will be a month or two, everything else I will possibly get earlier.

All that's left is cat's, shift kit and trans cooler then I think that'll be all?? Anything that I've missed?

Not sure. Could probably check though, I have a Dolphin one. Cost was only $200 or so through Streeter. Honestly, I'm not sure on the performance gains. It makes only a slight difference on mine, given I've got Dale's lower brace, Whiteline sway bars, BCs and full SuperPro bushes.

You forgot to mention the Nismo oil cap Ryan. That's worth a 1/10 on any circuit, lol.

Nice parts Matt.... just for reference though, the Nismo springs are from the 2WD Stagea so are a little different than the NM35 springs although I'm sure just as nice (I was looking at them to put with my Bilsteins :))

AWD - F 8.3kg/mm

AWD - R 9.2kg/mm

2WD - F 7.5kg/mm

2WD - R 9.4kg/mm

Ah! Caught out! Is that because of the slight weight and distribution difference?

Cheers for the info Cam. Ill give them a go, main thing though, they will fit?

Yep, due to weight distribution.

I can't see why they wouldn't fit. Pretty sure that others have had the same springs on NM35's in the past without issue.

  • 2 months later...

FFS! this is the third time of trying to post in my own thread FU*K.

Most of you know I've got the Bilsteins on with the Nismo springs and the kakimoto zorst, I've got the V35 18's on wrapped in Falken 452's 245/45/18 HELLACHUNKYPLS, oh and a rear underbody brace.

(thanks to the help of Alex) He found that the radiator is weeping so replacement hoses, belt and a radiator are coming.

So all I gotta do now is do my brakes and my handling is done :D.

To Do List:

Trans cooler

HFC's

Transgo shift kit

Finished.

How she sat.

    • Seems like a decent result for a modded JZX110. They are bulky in comparison to the 100 and 90 models (which I'd prefer myself) but they are getting very few and far between here in JP these days. Thanks for the detailed review and the import process into the UK. I also have a car which I'm hoping to export from Japan at some stage so it's good to know if someone from the UK was interested in it. By the way the corrosion underneath is par for the course for cars which were located in/near the mountains or along the Japan sea coastline. They get huge amounts of snow every winter and the sodium chloride is used on the roads. Many cars have some kind of rubber like treatment underneath but they tend to limit it to the wheel arches underbody and fuel tank. Suspension arms and sub-frames will have similar corrosion to your JZX110 which is a common sight. See it all the time and car dealers here generally don't even mention it unless asked.
    • If the sound goes away when you clutch in, the 1.5/2 way diffs are just shit, and you are a normal person. The diff is likely "fine" but driving at anything under 30kmh is a violent horrible experience. It would be exaggerated with solid diff bushings and subframe bushings if you have those.
