Lachlan and martin.

When was the last time u

A) went on an sauwa cruise

B) went to an sauwa event day

C) went to an event where sauwa was involved

Define for me what a car club is? Does it just involve trolling the wt section talking about reach arounds and what u ate for breakfast?

Yeah let me rock up to sauwa meetings to say how the club doesnt do.anything just so i can get banned just like brett and allen, maybe u remember them?

Pre-requisite for replying to my post U MUST OWN A SKYLINE.

Kthanks.

For sale section will be opened again today and i'll be taking care of it. Admins higher up are making the national sale section as one and we'll have our own sub group apparently.

But until then it'll remain open.

As for no events etc, why don't you organise one Char.

wah wah f**king wah

its not just sauwa that seems to be in a decline (in terms of events/attendees) - its car clubs across australia

pulsar group of australia? members in decline and no real events to speak off (peaked around 2007ish - most things are organised spur of the moment and is told via the FB page)

you could name any small car club across australia and talk about decline - thanks in part to bigger forums such as JDMST, SAU, Hardtuned.net becoming a base for 'how do I change the oil in my civic' type questions

yes...it seems that eastern states divisions of SAU have a bigger 'thing' but that is also thanks in part to a better access to facilities (Barbagello anybody??), and in part bigger chapters and closer proximity to chapters

SAU Nationals - who from here made the trek across??

if your going to f**king whinge - whinge AFTER you've made an effort to do something

I don't go on cruises cos of the popo.

I go to any events I'm not working and usually see a few members there.

I sought interest for a simworld event and don't remember you showing any interest. I might try reignite some interest later today for next month if you wanna put your name down.

I also expect heaps of fellow members at racewars

I don't go to events like cruises and such because I'm not interested in them. I'm also not here complaining about it. What does your post have to do with the for sale section anyway? What do the mods not organising cruises have to do with that either? The mods are people with jobs and lives and I don't expect them to sit on here so myself or anyone else can sell shit. Use eBay or Gumtree or one of the other billion sites where people sell shit to other people for fuck sake. OR, if the WA sale section works so well and you can't do without it, stick your hand up and help make it happen. I'm not because I don't need it. As you said, I'm just here to troll the Wasteland.

Brett and Allen didn't like what was being done here so they went and did something about it. Respect. What are you doing about it?

I drive a commodore, and am a member of this club. I'm just good mates with most of the regulars in WT.

10/10 for getting me to reply.

Congratulations for being a dickhead.

Agreed. Total fail. Sauwa doesn't do anything or have anything. The only thing It did have that was useful was the for sale section and now it doesn't even have that.

You can always f**koff and sell your shit on another forum , i doubt anyone here has a gun to your head to stop you from leaving :)

i dont have a skyline anymore so therefore i am not cool???

Better hand in my membership to Dan and Paul (by the way I know both well including their family and where they live, do you?) and stop talking to the other GOOD friends I have made through this forum....O well it was a fun *insert how ever many years i have been apart of this place here* years, :action-smiley-069:

/dont bother replying. Coz in reality u dont have a leg to stand on and id hate to encourage ur fetish of *the more posts I have the cooler I am.

/not coming back into this thread.

Kthanks.

Awww you're not coming back? Why? Afraid to see what people say? If you think you are so awesome and can run things better then BE MY GUEST...DO IT!! Whine whine whine....is that all you can do?

OH yea pre-requisite? I have 2 skylines...and then what?

^^^ lawl.

i'll give ya a hand to moderate corey. lemme know if ya keen. n i've tried to organise an event or two plus run regular midvale track days.. yet to see anyone here even throw up a hand for interest.. lol

If we don't have to send heavy gear in the post across AUS that's generally preferred. Avoiding post at all costs is clearly better for both parties.

Why get rid of a local classifieds where people can go and view the parts before purchase?!?

Most eastern states crew dont want to buy from WA anyways! We are so isolated.

Please remove the CLOSED on WA for sale section. - (YOU CAN STILL POST IN IT)

Whoever's made the decision to consolidate all of AUS in one for sale thread, There's WAAAAY TOO MANY POSTS EACH DAY. People's posts get lost and it was a waste of time writing out a long-winded ad.

Common Sense please..

Thanks.

Hello area is open again indefinitely.

SAU will be making the new for sale section have drop down boxes each state. When this upgrade is implemented, the state classifieds will be moved there.

Brett and Allen. Why were they banned? Pretty sure they're still around. From memory they created their own car cruise club for all types of cars. And it's going well :)

I'm quite happy to volunteer my time to moderate the FS section.

Thanks for the offer :) Good to see people willing to help

I just cleaned up the mod list for WA and added two new mods on. Will see how it goes and if we're still tied down will get in contact :)

I work in Audit.. so there is a good chance I am.

No seriously if you get stuck just ask, I've been around long enough. I mainly lurk in the Classic Skylines section, but I do follow what goes on here.

    • God damnit. The only option I actually have in the software is the one that is screenshotted. I am glad that I at least got it right... for those two points. Would it actually change anything if I chose/used 80C and 120C as the two points instead? My brain wants to imagine the formula put into HPtuners would be the same equation, otherwise none of this makes sense to me, unless: 1) The formula you put into VCM Scanner/HPTuners is always linear 2) The two points/input pairs are only arbitrary to choose (as the documentation implies) IF the actual scaling of the sensor is linear. then 3) If the scaling is not linear, the two points you choose matter a great deal, because the formula will draw a line between those two points only.
    • Nah, that is hella wrong. If I do a simple linear between 150°C (0.407v) and 50°C (2.98v) I get the formula Temperature = -38.8651*voltage + 165.8181 It is perfectly correct at 50 and 150, but it is as much as 20° out in the region of 110°C, because the actual data is significantly non-linear there. It is no more than 4° out down at the lowest temperatures, but is is seriously shit almost everywhere. I cannot believe that the instruction is to do a 2 point linear fit. I would say the method I used previously would have to be better.
    • When I said "wiring diagram", I meant the car's wiring diagram. You need to understand how and when 12V appears on certain wires/terminals, when 0V is allowed to appear on certain wires/terminals (which is the difference between supply side switching, and earth side switching), for the way that the car is supposed to work without the immobiliser. Then you start looking for those voltages in the appropriate places at the appropriate times (ie, relay terminals, ECU terminals, fuel pump terminals, at different ignition switch positions, and at times such as "immediately after switching to ON" and "say, 5-10s after switching to ON". You will find that you are not getting what you need when and where you need it, and because you understand what you need and when, from working through the wiring diagram, you can then likely work out why you're not getting it. And that will lead you to the mess that has been made of the associated wires around the immobiliser. But seriously, there is no way that we will be able to find or lead you to the fault from here. You will have to do it at the car, because it will be something f**ked up, and there are a near infinite number of ways for it to be f**ked up. The wiring diagram will give you wire colours and pin numbers and so you can do continuity testing and voltage/time probing and start to work out what is right and what is wrong. I can only close my eyes and imagine a rat's nest of wiring under the dash. You can actually see and touch it.
    • So I found this: https://www.efihardware.com/temperature-sensor-voltage-calculator I didn't know what the pullup resistor is. So I thought if I used my table of known values I could estimate it by putting a value into the pullup resistor, and this should line up with the voltages I had measured. Eventually I got this table out of it by using 210ohms as the pullup resistor. 180C 0.232V - Predicted 175C 0.254V - Predicted 170C 0.278V - Predicted 165C 0.305V - Predicted 160C 0.336V - Predicted 155C 0.369V - Predicted 150C 0.407V - Predicted 145C 0.448V - Predicted 140C 0.494V - Predicted 135C 0.545V - Predicted 130C 0.603V - Predicted 125C 0.668V - Predicted 120C 0.740V - Predicted 115C 0.817V - Predicted 110C 0.914V - Predicted 105C 1.023V - Predicted 100C 1.15V 90C 1.42V - Predicted 85C 1.59V 80C 1.74V 75C 1.94V 70C 2.10V 65C 2.33V 60C 2.56V 58C 2.68V 57C 2.70V 56C 2.74V 55C 2.78V 54C 2.80V 50C 2.98V 49C 3.06V 47C 3.18V 45C 3.23V 43C 3.36V 40C 3.51V 37C 3.67V 35C 3.75V 30C 4.00V As before, the formula in HPTuners is here: https://www.hptuners.com/documentation/files/VCM-Scanner/Content/vcm_scanner/defining_a_transform.htm?Highlight=defining a transform Specifically: In my case I used 50C and 150C, given the sensor is supposedly for that. Input 1 = 2.98V Output 1 = 50C Input 2 = 0.407V Output 2 = 150C (0.407-2.98) / (150-50) -2.573/100 = -0.02573 2.98/-0.02573 + 47.045 = 50 So the corresponding formula should be: (Input / -0.02573) + 47.045 = Output.   If someone can confirm my math it'd be great. Supposedly you can pick any two pairs of the data to make this formula.
