So much mirin Toby

Dark rims suit it I reckon!

Yeah dark rims are good

At the moment the current rims aren't wide enough

And I can't fit spacers at the moment even up to 25mm as the rim hub still hits the old studs

hot dam that paint is gorgeous, it just gets better and better

Thanks scmate!

shiiiieeet can't wait to see in person

Soon Leroy! Soon!

Down at OTR to fit a set of 265/40/18 Hankook Rs3 tyres

Big range of rims and friendly bunch of guys.

Tried some Te37 SL's 18 x 10.5 + 15 for fun. They have an Advan 050 295 tyre on them i think

Front tyres are scrubbing the top bit of the suspension so I need to go either a 35 profile tyre or somehow fix the problem

Hnnng those TE37s are hot, awesome colour combo maybe you should treat yourself for christmas?

Ahh thanks mate. Spending that much on rims is out of my price range at the moment. I don't mind TE37's but prefer them in 19's with the dish!

So this is what happens when you run too chunky of a tyre. Suspension arm/knuckle is touche the tyre. Might need to angle grind it down for more clearance

Also I did play around with the idea of white writing on the tyres after seeing one on a hankook race car. But decided not to go ahead with it haha

Ah, I see now.

That's the camber arm, not the knuckle. Just cut the arm down.

If you really want, buy a offset bush and offset the arm higher. It will clear easy that way.

Oh i forgot to say that pic is with a 8mm spacer that I was trialing

Oh thanks. I have no idea about suspension bits lol

Might look into the offset bush if it is also a cheap solution

Are there other bits I may as well change at the same time if I change the bush?

Suspension is stock except for coilovers, so would like to do a few things to improve the handling before the next track day

I know I probably need front and rear adjustable camber arms for more negative camber

Isn't 40 profile bit too tall for Skylines? Most run 35 profile.

Yes it is a bit tall haha

Test fit of XD9's 18x10 + 18 265 Achilles tyre. Plenty of clearance

I don't mind Xd9s...

    • The wideband reading is meaningless if it's not running. Why are you using shitty old sidefeeds on any engine, let alone a Neo? What manifold and fuel rail are you using to achieve that? Beyond that, can't help you with AEM stuff as I've never been their ECU/CAS combo.
    • Manual boost controllers (where a little of the boost was bled off) were quite common back in the day, because they were cheap and easy. Generally they had a manual adjustment screw rather than being fixed like yours. Down side is they always bleed boost, not just when you want them to so an electronic boost controller that uses a solenoid will have less lag.
    • Hello , im new here and i have A31 home build  RB25det neo stock eng / turbo  aem ems 2 blue connector  aem 3.5 map aem cas disk aem wideband connected to ecu  355 lph pump 550 nismo yellow injectors side feed aftermarket regulator  and won’t start with base aem tuner basic tune eventually flipped cas 180 degree so it triggers on correct stroke not in exhaust cycle  Now it won’t start Wideband reads 10 and 11 at lowest fuel setting  and will share calibrations soon for aem tuner i think something is wrong in aem tuner    please if you have any information, am very grateful
    • Legend. I ended up finding the facebook account of the owner of the first car i sent but sadly he deactivated the account. I think you’re right in saying it’s some sort of well done custom job. Really appreciate your help anyways.
    • Totally equivalent. Stock often goes from the comp cover because that's where the actuator is also installed and the factory needs 2" of hose to make the connection - and it comes as a pre-assembled unit. They totally have a boost reference from somewhere between the turbo and the throttle(s). Oh, jeez. Just do it in M12 then. We don't actually care that much. I would expect any such AN converter fitting to rely on an o-ring or some other seal onto a flat surface under the flange of the hex**, because bolt threads are no intended to provide a pressure seal. unlike..... pipe threads. **which also requires a suitably flat and smooth surface on the turbo's boss to provide the seal.
