Don't pretend you didn't live there 2 weeks ago lol

Also, those speed bumps are a pain in the ass and f**king expensive to put there too. Heard a few years ago that creating a slip lane at a traffic light costs about $100k in materials and labour.

And agree, some people just love to complain...it makes their existence feel a bit more justified when they run out of productive things to do with their lives.

And you know the Roundabout on Morack Road and George Road?

That was meant to be bigger so that busses could go around it, but to save money and avoid cutting into the nature strip (aka, buying back land from the corner property) they said F%&k it and just made the roundabout a low profile one so that bus could drive stright over it :P

And people still don't know how to indicate properly there, lol

Birds/Odium - pretty sure we can come to the conclusion that vermont has to be up there with one of the most heavily speed-bumped suburbs in victoria lol
f*cking hate driving to the mrs place because of it haha

I remember when George road was dirt. Fark I am old.

The speed hump idea has been going on for years around that area, like you say, it slows drivers down, then they have to speed up again. Not very environmentally friendly. The greenies should be all over it.

Recently randomly pulled over by TMU after leaving a kebab shop near cnr Warrigal & Dandenong Rds around 11pm. Completely behaving myself.

Short story was that the officer's comment made was that if I had another vehicle in the garage, to bring that one out next time.

Car was a stock Polo GTI.... seriously??

I took away from that there's a hoon issue on Dandy road and they're sending out a message.

    • If there's enough meat in the housing where you want to put the M12 adapter, then do it, but be aware that if/when you f**k that up you'll probably be repairing it before doing anything else. I'd just drill it out and tap ina 1/4" thread. No need for rocket surgery when the next most obvious thing will do. You could throw a 1/4 x 1/8 bush in there and use the same fitting you intended to use.
    • Is the only issue that the oil catch can is getting filled on hard runs? I'd be thinking more about oil control issues rather then the head lifting, especially as you aren't seeing spiking in the coolant pressure.  Do you need restrictors in the head, or better drains from the head? Does the sump need venting to the catch can?
    • Tried to make 1/8npt threads into compressor house of the turbo for my EBC. Threads got fu#ked and ended up with and elongated hole, so I do have good amount and nice threads 90% of the hole but 10% I only had 1-2threads there and rest of it is flush on that side of the hole.. So my idea is to do M12 x 1.25 to AN4 with braided lines instead of 1/8npt to 4mm vacuum silicone hose.  and hopefully get a better thread. M12 is quite big and AN4 is a little bit bigger than 4mm (4.9mm inner diameter braided PTFE hose). but this should work. Thoughts? Otherwise I will weld and adapter onto the turbo.
