Troll?

That was definitely not a Porsche beater, and was never offered in RWD either.

Me and my mates found one dumped on the side of the road once, I offered the guy $200 and he insisted we take it for $100 lol

Got thrashed.

The NX2000, with its light weight, stiff chassis, and limited-slip differential, was considered one of the best-handling front-wheel-drive cars of the time. In 1992, Road & Track magazine included the NX2000 in a test of the world's best handling cars against such competition as the Acura NSX, Porsche 911, Nissan 300ZX, Mazda Miata, and Lotus Elan.

So R&T did a test with 3 higher powered vehicles and a mix of cheaper alternatives. Doesn't mean they were being presented as equal cars.

I always liked the styling though. Was much nicer than the previous generations of styling in the forms of the exa turbo and pulsar ET turbo.

it's it day a RWD, LSD sr20DE NX-R was sport car of the year beating porshe and any worthy competitor.

They go for cheap in the s/h market but I see many people taking them on as project. they look cute. Any one working on them?

Any car would beat a PORSHE..... because it doesn't actually exist. Porsche is a car manufacturer however.

You obviously learned about cars the same place you got your education.... If your'e going to troll, maybe start with getting some simple points right and go from there....

    • I know people cry at the price of the Getrag 12-14k for a conversion now, but it really is a nice mid point. Not going to get change from 10k on a gearset installed.  $30k++ for sequential.   I know you run the risk of a damaged used one and parts are hard to get but as a street car gearbox its really hard to beat. If you enjoy a more traditional manual, its the choice no question.
