Hello

I learned about 550cc injectors made by a comapny called Deatschwerks. I tried finding info about them on the web and cant find many reviews. I have read that people use them but no one has really put up a review about them.

Does anyone know if they are good injectors for the rb20 or should I stick with Nismo, Sard, or Tomei?

I got the 444 from them. The flowchart that came with mine said they're matched around 458cc.

Really noisy, the idle is a little more erratic than with the standard ones but nothing to worry about, AFR are stable on idle, cold start or hot start are as good as standard.

No problem so far with 10 000 km on them on P98.

The only downside is the noise, if I had a quieter exhaust the only thing I could hear would be them.

Double check the latency, I chose the 444cc because of it, the 555cc latency is almost two times longer from memory, and I didn't really need much more on P98 anyway.

On E85 I would buy the 650cc directly.

They come with adapter plug so they're really drop in.

Just excite them with a battery before installing them. I had to excite one directly from the battery to get it to open. Then it worked like a charm.

I purchased mine directly from their site.

Really? Really?

Their sidefeeds are as good as water pistols, similar to Five-O Motorsport Garden hoses.

Since its a RB20 I would just go EV14 or IDs if you have the cash to burn.

Im using their 700cc. Noise is about the same as stock GTR. They are a touch fluffy at idle, but a

power fc idle reset got rid of most of it. Pretty common on any aftermarket injector larger then stock.

I am of the opinion that they over rate their injectors

I have their pump as well and that has been tested and around 10% over rated- although they might test with no lines, I tested in the car. Pretty stupid to rate a pump without lines

Maybe alter the search parameters to "hydrolock, Deutschwerks" and you should get some hits.

Same goes with Five-O Motorsport... I made the mistake of buying a set, recently just spent a kidney new injectors.

However being a RB20DET, and with your power goal in mind.. Stock 444cc GT-R injectors would be tits.. drop in, wire up resistor pack, rescale and off you go

I have a set of Deatschwerks 550s in my car now - have had them for about 5 years and they seem ok. However I believe they are just "remanufactured" Nismos or something and when I upgrade I will be getting IDs or Bosch or whatever they are.

DW, Five-O, ANSU, all they do is get a JECS injector and grind off the 4x hole tip which helps with the spray pattern. They then carefully enlarge the remaining single hole to increase overall flow.

I've had a look at both side feeds, and I actually own a set of Five-O and how they're produced are identical... If you look carefully you can see grind marks.... it's sad.

I have them and a pump in my old rb20 in the 32.

They seem fine, im running an rb25 turbo at 14psi and Nistune as well.

182.8 kw safe (a little rich) tune.

The best thing about them is the ease of install, they just go in like Nissan parts, no fking around.

You wont need to worry about correct resistance like if you get gtr injectors.

You get a test flow chart and spec sheet for your tuner.

So... cheap, maybe crap quality like others have said, but ok for small goals, and very easy to install.

It all comes down to the old questions of your goals and budget.

Soo much miss information here.

DW are not jecs not even remotley close. They are bosch.

They do not have re-drilled single holes and do provide a accurate spray pattern.

However this may be true with other brands mentioned.

My Dw have been perfect so far.

I had no difficulty installing.

Tuner had no probs what so ever, neither has running idle through to Wot.

    • Thanks, will do that.  Thankfully they still feel great.
    • Yeah man, absolutely. You can try pushing me all the way in swapping the R34 for an E9x M3
    • It's almost certainly going to be some amount of pads compound transfer onto the rotors. It will probably go away after you've run them for a bit. If not, pull it all out, lightly sand the rotors, scuff the pads, and rebed.
    • no one recommending speedtek gearsets?   i'm in the same boat as Cosline but rwd, I am holding boost back in third to 600nm at the hubs to save the gear as i make nearly 750nm at the hubs on a mainline
