^ haha all good :)

The thread did digress a little - DW Top Feed Injectors I haven't had experience with, however it does look like re-manufactured Bosch injectors... Similar to other top feeds.

I have DW 1200cc top feed injectors in my GTR and used to have in my Gts-t... Both idle like stock and work very well for economy and power! I had some DW 770cc top feeds in my old RB20 as well, also perfect.

I know a few people who have also jumped from Bosch 2000cc injectors after having issues with idle and them blocking over to DW 1200s and now having no issues at all

Yeah, but to be fair, DW 1200cc and the Bosch 2000cc are basically the same technology bracket, and the 2000s are just far too big for most applications.

Defending the DW 1200s is a bit off topic when the criticism raised against DWs was specifically against the old side fed shitters.

REVIVAL OF AN OLD THREAD!

Is anyone running the 950cc injectors? I asked my tuner today just waiting for a response.

Has anyone had any experience with these since this thread last died off?

side feed or top feed?

Sorry!

Side feed - I'm trying for the stock look with ease of installation.

don't do it, you'll want to stab yourself in the eye afterwards.

Just go top feed, 1/2 height ones fit under the plenum nicely and you can get all black fittings rail etc.

I can appreciate that top feed are good and all but I don't want to have to hand the tuner a kit and say "Here you go, piece it together for me" I'm just worried something could go wrong (I guess most tuners should be capable though?)

11mm rail with adapters?

Fake Sard reg?

There are better ways to convert to top feed using a 14mm rail and shorter half height injectors. ;)

Scott, I'll message you later tonight to discuss if you have some free time.

lol what a hater, I gave you measurements for nothing :)

I use a Turbosmart FPR1200 anyhow. Got that Sard FPR free so I used it.

Its very easy 14mm aeroflow rail with short spacers, 1/2 height xspurt injectors, reg, few fittings and hose and done. For around the $1000 mark you will have everything you need to drop straight in.

But yeah talk to Scott and he will get you everything you need to drop straight in for good price.

    • It is a kunfine Android screen . Does anyone know the wirering diagram of the fuga ??
    • just an update to this, poor man pays twice  Tried sanding down the pulleys but it didnt do the trick. Chucked another second hand alternator in the na car which I got for free off my mate and its fixed the squelling. Must have been unlucky with the bearings.    As for my turbo car, I managed to pick up a cwc rb alternator conversion bracket + LS alternator for 250 off marketplace, looked to be in really good nick. Installed it , started the car and its not charging the battery.... ( Im not good with auto elec stuff so im not sure if this was all I needed to do but I verified such by using a multimeter on the battery when the engine was running and I was only getting 12.2v )   I had to modify the earth strap for the new LS alternator , factory earth strap was a 10mm bolt which did not fit the bolt on the LS alternator which was double the size so I cut it off , went to repco bought some ring terminals that fit, crimped it onto the old earth strap and bolted it up to the alternator , started the car and same issue. Ran like shit and was reading 12.2 at the battery.  For a "plug and play" advertised kit thats not very plug and play but alas.  My question is , am I missing something ? Ive been reading that some people recommend upgrading the stock 80 amp alternator fuse to a 140 amp but I dont see how that would stop the alternator charging especially at idle not under load.  Regardless ive pulled it out and am going to get it bench tested by an auto elec tomorrow but it would be handy to know if ive missed something silly or have done something wrong.
    • My wild guess is that you have popped off an intake pipe....check all of the hoses between the turbo and the throttle for splits or loose clamps.
    • Awesome, thanks for sharing!
    • To provide more specific help, more information is needed. What Android screen? What is its wiring diagram? Does the car's wiring have power at any required BAT and ACC wires, and is the loom's earth good?
