PranK
I love this! MX5's have always been super cool, the current model looks fantastic, but this is the first 'all new' MX5 in 25 years! And it looks SOO good! Apparently it'll have the option of a 2L 165HP engine which doesn't sound too flash but curb weight is likely to be under 1050kg for the rag top. PN-Mad
Topic should read "- brilliant, from the front!" Dat ass, it's just not doing it for me 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448258-2015-mazda-mx5-miata-looks-brilliant/#findComment-7382242 Share on other sites
GTR-N1
Perhaps a countermove by BRZ and 86 might be to go open top too? As Alex indicates, nice edgy front! zoomzoom
Reminds me of a mix between a jaguar f type and a ferrari california. niclol
Front looks okay although it's the same generic style that's on the BRZ/new Copen. Not feeling the rear at all though Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448258-2015-mazda-mx5-miata-looks-brilliant/#findComment-7382350 Share on other sites
luke gtr
First all new in 25 years? The current shape was all new. Different chassis, motor, box, panels, interior and brakes iirc. luke gtr
I like the styling of this over the current shape. And good to hear they're going back to trying to keep weight down. GTR-N1
Developed with Alfa Romeo. The Italian version is to be built in Japan with totally different styling and marketed under a Fiat badge. 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448258-2015-mazda-mx5-miata-looks-brilliant/#findComment-7383735 Share on other sites
mad082
Developed with Alfa Romeo. The Italian version is to be built in Japan with totally different styling and marketed under a Fiat badge. So the only a few of the electronics will stop working? GTR-N1
I was a slow learner having owned two Alfas. But at least that's how I met Maria... 1 Link to comment https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/448258-2015-mazda-mx5-miata-looks-brilliant/#findComment-7384189 Share on other sites
