R33 Nismo 1.5 Way

Hey guys I got a r33 GTS25T few months ago, i'm loving it but the guy I bought it off said it had a nismo 1.5 way but I have no idea how to find out, i've done a few searchs and basically you cant tell from looking you have to take a cover off. Anyway my question is how do I stop the shuterring at low speed turns. This car is my daily and will always be, it just gets quite annoying going through car parks lol. So can this be stopped through a oil change or adjusting backlash (i have no idea what this is, just been reading other threads) or do i have to deal with it? Thanks.

thats just the nature of the diff mate, you can't adjust it, you simply need to get a standard lsd diff.

That sounds like a nismo to me, if it is they are worth around $500-700 second hand.

It's "shuddering", not "shuttering". Shutters are things you put over windows.

You can try adding friction modifier to the diff oil. There are in fact very recent threads on this topic that you could have found.

Hopefully it isn't a shimmed stock diff, they can shudder badly too if they shimmed it too tight.
