tightened up the balancer bolt and fitted the mandrel and belt for the oil pump.

also fitted the a/c lines to the a/c pump and with the brackets pushing the pump further out from the block gives so much more room for the turbo drain to snake through

I also forgot to mention how easy the top starter motor bolt is without all that shit under the inlet manifold, you literally just reach in from the top and put it straight in by hand

got the correct radiator and slipped it in only for the fan to hit on the mandrel for the oil pump. Out it came and will be for sale while I go back to the drawing board

Haven’t updated this for a while, I went on holidays and then had the flu 3 times in 2 months and when I have been well it’s been lots of little jobs that haven’t been finished for one reason or another.

First I changed the fuel return line from -6 to -8

Replaced the short series filter to a long one4D7C3390-05F4-402B-BAC4-7804E0CC8B69.thumb.jpeg.4d3e59ead324348ebcc06f3ea4b45d4c.jpeg

then I grab a set of these brackets and took the option for the hicas line holders as well

installed them and used the hicas line holders to hold the 2 -6 lines for the power steering

I changed the fuel rain from being twin -6 feed and single -6 return to single -8 in and out

mounted the filter and plumbed them together

also am moving the flex sensor closer to the regulator and grabbed turbosmarts new -8 reg. Still some fittings and etc to get them in there, also fitted a pressure sensor for more safety

Also means you can setup differential fuel pressure on the Kebabtech 😎

So regardless of slightly fluctuations on fuel pressure you'll inject the right amount.

Notice my logs before had rock solid AFRs? 😊

Got most of the oil system plumbed up

got the oil filter into place, I hate where it is but it was the only place I could find where it wasn’t in the way of anything

D5DD8F9E-E703-4B5D-B3E5-0AF01332C129.thumb.jpeg.df76233f8321bbf5f01432bf8c7736b7.jpeg

Then plumbed the oil cooler In, BMRS fitting and hoses make this stuff so easy

and then the 2 -16 hoses run the length of the car into the boot, need to build a bracket to mount the tank and then the oil system will be done

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
