More so the latter point of it being the same engine minus the supercharger and also not in budget, they do look sex tho done right

Got laptop back but has original version of windows installed, can I still get the free upgrade to 10?

Yep just download the win 10 iso installer from windows website, chuck it on usb and install it, as long as you've got win7 / 8 pro it'll activate

What version does it currently have on it? That's what your 10 licence would be for.

Guessing most likely has home though unless it was a business laptop.

Select windows 10 under creators update and use it to create an iso for you it may offer a usb drive option.

 

You can then use a free tool called "Rufus" to make a bootable usb drive to install it if it doesn't offer you a usb drive option.
