Hey guys new to the forum and I've started modding my R33 GTST, so I've decided to go with the flex fuel option with the Link G4 ECU that's I've bought.
I've also bought a Walbro 450 E85 fuel pump.

I was recommended to get this fuel rail and injector package by my tuner so I want confirmation from you guys whether or not I should get it.

Mods are: pod filter, front mount, stock turbo (stock boost), 3 inch straight through exhaust with a decat, one hot dog and muffler.

For stock plenum. Top feed 1000cc injectors.

Definately the best option going with that for the injectors only thing you will need to change on the aeroflow rail kit to fit the 1/2 size injectors on stock manifold is smaller spacers (8mm) and Orings for the plugs that go into the stock manifold are to big so you need slightly smaller diameter Oring.

Easiest way is talk to Scott on here or look at hes site http://scottyscustoms.com.auhe will sell you the kit with everything ready to bolt in at a good price.

Ok well the kit consists of everything specifically for the RB25det non NEO, so I would assume that everything that is in that kit is perfect for it.

Has anyone used this kit yet? Also it's $750. Does that seem to be a decent price for what it is?

Quite a bit of money for a modest performance increase (based on running E85) . You will need a retune. Why not wait until you get a new turbo? The new rail is not necessary but if you want one its not that expensive I guess.

Hasn't been tuned yet as that ECU isn't in yet. I'm doing the fuel setup beforehand so it gets done in one go with no retune needed.

What do you mean "I'm doing the fuel setup beforehand so it gets done in one go with no retune needed" ?

Does this mean you plan to drive around for a while with these injectors in without tuning it?

I will either drive the car to the tuner and install it there or I will do it all at home and then get it put on a tow truck and taken to the tuners.

That kit won't just bolt in, not unless they have made different rail spacers. Do you have a link? Where is the kit from?

Also the lower plenum adapters won't fit into the stock plenum without changing the Orings to thinner ones. The rail kits are designed for Greddy plenums.

Ah, Garage7 in the watermark. Ring them and ask? I doubt they will know what you are talking about, and it will be your mechanic's problem when it doesn't fit, which you will have to pay for.

Alright guys thanks for the help. Has anyone dealt with garage7 in Adelaide before? They seem to be pretty damn good and a lot of help.

If you're on Facebook do a search for garage7 and look at their photos. Says it's a solution for stock plenum on rb25dets non Neo conversion from side to top feed.

Just looks like an Aeroflow rail kit to me, unless the pictures don't show the short spacers and second set of Orings?

I can only assume Garage7 are buying the whole kit including injectors from Aznew, which is my supplier, and they don't include either. I need to make the spacers to suit the short 40mm injectors.

Call them and ask, it's the only way to be sure.

    • would a r34 gtr hood line up with gt/gtt stock fenders? after latch, front bumper and hinges are swapped for gtr ones? or would the fenders be too low or high in relation to the hood surface? ( I believe seeing somewhere that gtr front fenders use some type of riser for the sides, but do not know how that relates to stock gt/gtt fenders.)
    • You just need to remove the compressor housing, not the entire turbo. I would not be drilling and tapping anything with the housing still on anyways.
    • So, I put my boat on a boat. First of all, I'm going to come out and say it. Why is Tasmania not considered a holy goal, an apex that all road-legal modified cars go to, to experience? This place is an absolute wonderland of titanic proportions. If people are already getting club runs for once in a lifetime 30 person cruises to Tassy then I've never seemed to see it. It is like someone replaced the entire place with an idyllic wonderland for cars, and all of the people living there with paid actors who are kind, humble, and friendly. Dear god. After doing a lap of almost all of the place I've found that it's a great way to find out all of the little things that the car isn't doing quite right and a great way to figure it all out. All in all, I drove for 4 hours a day for a week and nothing broke. I didn't even need to open the engine bay. This is by all means a great success, but it has left me with a list of things to potentially address. I also now have a 3D printed wheel fitment tool which annoyingly hasn't got any threads in it to actually assemble it. I might be able to tape it together to check the sizing I actually want to use, but it'll likely involving pulling the shocks out to properly measure travel at least at the front, and probably raise the car while I'm at it, at least in the rear. I scraped on quite a few things and I'm not sure how else to go about it. I was taking anything with a bump at what felt like 89 degree angles. And address those 10 other tasks. And wash the car. God damn it is dirty. And somehow, the weather was perfect the entire time - And because I was on the top of Mt Wellington it turns out it was very much about to freeze up there. I did something I typically never do and took some photos up there in what must have been -10 and the foggy felt like suspended ice, rather than mere fog. If you own a car in Australia, you owe it to yourself to do it.
    • Damn that was hilarious, and a bit embarrassing for skylines in general 😂 vintage car life ey. That R33 really stomped. Pretty entertaining stuff
    • Hi, I have a r32 gtr transmission. Does any of you guys have an idea how much power it will hold with the billet center plate and stock gearset? At what power level and use did yours brake with or without billet plate? Thanks, Oystein Lovik
