Speed Limiter R34 Na

Recommended Posts

Isn't the low power the speed limiter?

Anyway, jap cars are limited to 180, but go try for yourself and report back

Hahaha

Yeah I went past 180 yesterday, but it did limit at around 200km/h (my mate was doing roughly the same speed). Would it be possible that I have an aftermarket ecu? I'm the first owner in Aus and the car has been modified a fair bit

Supposedly... but in reality they don't actually limit to that speed quite often. (at least that was the case back in the 90's)

My old 33 was limited at 192 kph.

I recall reading about numerous types of jap cars 'limited' to 180, but when people actually bought and tested them they exceeded 180.

Possible but highly unlikely. Remove the passenger side kick panel and have a look at the ECU to find out!

This. How much straight road do you need to get to 180+? The quickest I've been in mine is only 150 and even that took like 700m of dead empty highway.

School holidays again?

You either do this at the drags/track or not at all.

Can we please not talk about this stuff on a public forum. Please and thank you.
