That’s a clip for between the synchros, very common for them to fall out on big power cars. You been moving to a dog engagement box soon 👍

i actually have one ready to rock sitting on the floor from os im just waiting to brake this one first. the old r32 trans is holding on for dear life mate lol she has many wins and losses under her belt, its been a good trans. still shifts nice i did have to jam some redline shockproof up its butt as a band aid to get rid of a 3-4 grind. car has been between 500-700hp for a 4 years it owes me nothing thanks for the info good mate.

Great to see her back on the road!  Glad the JB Weld is holding her together!

thanks mate. im currently trying to slowly build an rb30. but if i was ever to build another rb26 block im pretty sure i would jb weld the entire side on each side of the block lol.  i put so much on the intake side that the block literally looks flat from rear of engine to the coolant neck on my block(i put so much you cant even see the water jacket plugs anymore.) i used a fak load of jb weld and i mean alot........probably stronger than ever now mate, cheers ill get some videos of her screaming.

Very nicely made, well done!  Here in Australia if you drive a Skyline and see the cops you run for the hills! 😂. They crucify Skyline owners here.  I think that will change over time (I hope) as the ownership of Skylines changes from being mostly 20 year old hoons to the more mature adult that a lot of us are!

hey good buddy thats really silly as skylines are a pretty big part of australian history (jim richards, mark skaiff, etc) cops should encourage people to drive them and build them so everyone can enjoy them and see them. around here its small enough that if we drive semi respectfully and stay away from residential areas we seem to be left alone. when we street race its late at night on a blocked off side way no one seems to care....

Because Skylines became quite cheap for a while they were predominantly owned by younger people and certain ethnic groups that were renowned for erratic driving! 😂 It’s probably settled down a bit now but in the past if you even drove passed a cop driving normally you were a very high probability of being pulled over.

There is a “hooning” law in here in Victoria where if you commit 3 hooning crimes (skids, drifting, extreme speeding, etc) the car you’re driving on the 3rd conviction gets crushed.  Regardless of whether it’s your car or not!  Imagine the 3rd conviction you were driving the bosses C63 and got pinged doing skids.  I’m sure he’d be stoked to see it go in the crusher……

Always a great day out in the gtr when it actually works proper for once... little gear banging and some nice Napping in the 600hp gtr lol.

    • looking for some help and maybe some insight on others experience with a new LSD. R34 GT ran and drove beautifully, but always alot of grip loss due to the open R200 rear end, so I just installed a new 1.5 LSD way into the stock open R200 for a ER34. Simple. Everything seemed right. I test drove for the first time this weekend. as I started to back out the garage the first time slowly with tires straight it sounded and felt like I had a loose or half disconnected drive shaft...that was clucking around loose and shaking entire vehicle, and making it feel like the trans clutch was spontaneously slipping then grabbing very roughly while just letting out pedal slowly. I backed it out went to pull forward with the same noise, shake and slip grab feeling with hesitation, I turned the tires to back out more and then pulled ahead some same thing but worst because of added wheel resistance (which that I expected) puzzled … pulling it back in checking everything over and finding nothing wrong, I tried it the next day. same thing, couldn’t believe how it shook everything again making a terrible noise and making it feel like the trans clutch was slipping and grabbing, but I got it out of garage into the driveway, got it straight, drove forward and then reveres a few times in a straight line everything shaking , causing what felt like clutch slip and grab every time, sounded like right behind front driver tire and I could feel it in the floor board with my feet,... worst right when beginning to let clutch pedal out to engage slightly, shuttering and sounding terrible along the way…I managed to slowly get down the road, babying it the whole way, once I was rolling (out of 1st) seemed to be better and between shifts, then clutch felt closer to normal…not slip/ grab etc., but back down to any stop, straight road or turning, same thing. Made no difference if all tires were straight or if I was turning. All other gauge read out correct. with in 2 miles as planned I reached the empty parking lot and performed the break in procedure that came with lsd, essentially to drive in a figure 8 a bunch.  Did this, binding chattering, and shaking the car the whole way. I drove it back home seemed somewhat normal once I was in straight line and past 10 mph or so, and I know it will “bind” on corners and cause some tires squeal when turning especially from a stop, but when I begin to move it still causes what feels like the trans clutch to slip and jerk badly as well as shaking the entire car, and sounds terrible, that I didn’t expect. I used the fluid they supplied with LSD kit and did the breaking, planning to change fluid as they suggest after breaking, but wondering will it get smoother or less aggressive with use? maybe a 1.5 is just too aggressive for normal road driving?   I have a LSD that I put in my 71 cuda when I restored it, with amazing smooth , quite yet effective results. Different style LSD but that ones a joy to drive. maybe expecting too much from this R200?

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
