Can't be too technically difficult given the Z has the same motor with a manual gearbox......here's hoping there is a JDM version we can import here, that would save me a world of headaches

Well the articals keep saying a Q50s (Skyline in Japan) with a new Manual gearbox. I like the talk about the new looks with the round tail lights. I hope they bring back the retro look like they did with the Z

I don't know any details, but I really wouldn't be surprised if they do it as a LHD only version, at least initially.

The 400R sold all 1000 units and 100 of the limited model so I'd say even if they just sold the GT with a manual it'd sell out in Japan for sure. I say 'sell out' because like the 400R I'm certain that Nissan JP will only offer it in limited numbers, or even in 150 unit increments like Toyota did with the GR Corolla (and sold them by lottery which I was denied 2 times, so gave up...)
