I just had my garage broken into and my spare wheels and tyres stolen.

They are my Original GTT wheels which everyone recognises of course and I've found a pic of one of them.

They forgot to take the centre caps also which may help find them.

They have some quite worn Falkan tyres on them and I'm so glad I hadn't gotten around to putting new semi slicks on like I had planned.

I'm in Sydney Eastern suburbs but they could be anywhere around so if people see them advertised or see someone who just got a set cheap without the centre caps then please let me know.

Thanks.

Sorry to hear Bob

Keep an ear to the ground - in the trading post, e-bay, parts trader, and your local dodgy workshop !

I don't think I'm covered. Am still trying to figure it out.

Thanks for the condolences and peeled eyes guys. I will be checking trading posts and the like.

They didn't try to take the car thank god (or whoever) and the car was very clean so the cops are hoping that they left some fingerprints on it.

Cops were really good about it. Came around within an hour and are fingerprinting some time today.

    • Does it also misfire equally when revving?   Josh is very correct in what you should do. The coilpack harness wiring loom itself is a known problem due to its age and the number of heat cycles it has gone through. Throwing parts at a vehicle to diagnose the issue isn't a smart or good way to do it. Secondly, you may have a bad coil pack, you pop replacements in, they fix that issue, but messing with the harness breaks it, so the issue persists. So now you think "well it wasn't the coil packs" and have to continue chasing your tail, potentially swapping back in your shit coil packs and returning the good ones (yes, I've seen people do this because 'it wasn't the problem' and they want to save money). And suddenly, you've got two issues with the same symptoms...   Diagnose, don't use the spare parts shotgun.
