He was in a little shit 2 door lancer.

Obviously it stood no chance against boost lol.

But I didn't want to keep heading along the parkway at 150kmh while he was trying to run into me.

When I spoke to the police they said I would be breaking the law if I ran a red light etc but my primary concern should be my safety and the safety of others on the road. So she pretty much was saying do it but don't endanger anyone else.

I was thinking of trying to get to belco police station but I was worried I would get caught in a situation where I could get boxed in.

Copped some mad road rage.

Had some bloke tailgate me and then try ram my car off the road tonight.

He got in front of me and slammed his brakes on until we came to a complete stop. I was scared shitless and smashed it in first gear and took off. Didn't want to break the speed limit so he caught up fairly quickly and tried multiple times to ram me off the road. At one stage I was driving on the medium strip trying to make sure he didn't hit my car.

I think I may have cut him off when I pulled out to overtake, first I knew of it was when he pulled up beside me and started yelling.

Couldn't even call the police because he was trying to ram the car and I didn't want to take my eyes off the road.

I ended up darting off on one of the exits along tuggers park way at the last minute so he couldn't follow. Didn't get his number plate either because I was so scared.

I saw a horror story like this on the news once.. Scared the shit out of me, dunno how I'd react if it was actually happening to me :/

I'm just worried now if he sees my car and trys to have another go. I don't see how people could get so crazy from something.

It was very similar to the above video.

He literally tried to crash me off the road and he didn't care that he was going to destroy his car when doing it.

Well thats one advantage of being 6 foot 4.

I just pull over and get out with the steering lock in my hand.

They get back in their car and leave.

The only problem ive had is a group of 3 guys chasing me, i was in the ute, so i put my towball through their radiator, and drove away, with a bit of the front bumper.

Towballs are good defensive weapons.

In the end, just stay safe. :D

Actually when i was a kid i was teased and bullied a lot.

When you get out and run at him with an iron bar, hes got a choice, these fags are bullies and fighting isnt what they want.

This subject gets me all worked up. I HATE bullies. Want to smash them all.

f**king hell Mani, glad you're ok! What is seriously wrong with some people?!

It doesn't even sound like you did anything?! Or did you brake check him when he was tailgating you? If not, maybe he thought you were someone else?

I was going to guess Commodore driver till I saw your post :D

Oi!

There are some dick heads out there

wooow intense. atleast your okay and the car is fine and you managed to stop before rear ending them.

depending on what they were like i would have pulled over and tried some Kruv maga shit on him. I also have a baseball bat i made on a lathe in school. Oneday it will probably work in times where your boxed in and just have to defend yourself somehow.

Walking away is always the answer but some people need to be shown they arent king shit.

Wow! That is crazy. I have never experienced anything remotely like that. Tailgating...that is about it.

If I was alone I would drive straight to a police station. If I had my wife and kids with me I am pretty sure I would get out and jump on the guys neck!

    • I'm normally copping my own abuse from neglecting my daily drivers. "Those suspension bushes will last a bit more", "Don't worry about the oil leak, just keep topping it up". The project cars I'm always doing things slowly on them as I'm wanting them to be done better, and neater, and nicer. Luckily I don't have to deal with 18 year old Matt's "Learning to wire" stuff in the project cars. And there's only one piece of wiring I'm displeased about in the Landcruiser, and it's about to be cut out... However, the box loads of parts that have been going through this place lately for the Landcruiser... Brake pads Brake Rotors Full handbrake overhaul Wheel Bearings Seals Swivel hubs Steering Boxes Half the suspension joints Shocks Air bags (Ones to go in the rear springs for towing) Water pump Timing kit Lower timing case Harmonic Balancer Radiator Lots of other little seals and shits Gas struts for the bonnet New power window switches And god knows what else I've forgotten... Ha ha ha I have my fingers crossed the pinion seals don't start leaking on the diffs, that the transfer case doesn't leak, and the gearbox input shaft doesn't leak, nor the rear main seal. As they're about the only seals I haven't replaced in the driveline! I'm seriously eyeing off buying new caliper rebuild kits front and rear brake calipers... I'll probably recheck all the valve clearances soon too, and hopefully, it should be all good and sweet to haul some long distance trips again!
    • Every time I pull my 3x gauges out of the console and see the crack-addict way that I did the wiring, and I just can't bring myself to tear it all apart and "make it nice", because it is currently working. In fact, the last time I was in there I probably made it worse.
    • The best part is when you own the car long enough that you look back and find your OWN ham fisted amateur shit!
    • The annoying part about neglect, is when you start to replace one thing, and find ten more broken things. Ham fisted monkey repairs you normally only find out about when trying to do something unrelated! Ha ha   Neglect you can kind of anticipate the huge costs to fix it all. Ham fistedness is normally a shock the first time your work on a new old car, as everything "looked" good before.
