There is Joviant in brookvale and Envy Imports do some work.

I haven't done any modifications and haven't heard any gossip about the above two.

Do you own the silver R34 that frequents manly? I also see from time to time a yellow R34 on warringah Rd.

How about setting up a homework station somewhere on the northern beaches where you do assignments for free? =)

I've got a compiler I have to modify and get working by friday as well as a speech system to make room reservations over the phone (using a computer operator with voice recognition).

Anyone want to help?

Hey MRK25T,

Ya The silver one is mine:uh-huh: I think Ive seen your car around. I like how you put the R34 mags on. They look good on the car.

We really need a shop here in the northern Beaches!!!:burnout: I have to travel all the way to silverwater to have anything done.

I remember my Uni days .... well most of them anyway. I was mostly at the Uni bar !!

Good luck with the homework dood ! Wish I could help, but I've forgotten all that stuff - I only know about Crank Angle Sensors, TEIN Coil overs, Hybrid Turbos, Wastgates, Blow Off valves, etc (all the stuff they never taught at Unis - Damn)

Joviant are good guys and Brett (the guy who owns the joint) is a cluey character for Skylines. Hell all nissans actually.

As for his car, HOLY SHIT. its a bloody monster. Been for several rides in it a different stages of the rebuild and tune. Has over 450Kw at the wheels with a stupid torque figure.

Went for blast in his.....got back in my 255Kw GTR and it felt like a Golf or something...

Bribe, sell your wife, but get a ride in that car...

Its awesome!

He tuned my GTR and my old GTIR and I've seen and been in heaps of cars he's worked on. First rate work from what I've seen.

I take my car there for servicing.

Sebaz, you overtook me on griffin rd one night a few weeks after I was putting along the south curl curl beachfront. You turned left into Abbott rd at the round about.

I was the slow silver skyline holding you up - didn't notice you until you overtook.

Joviant is at a round about in Brookvale.

I think its in the same street as st vincents. Envy imports had their workshop nearly opposite vinnies but have apparently moved since I bought my car.

If your heading south on pittwater rd, turn left just before the bus station (vinnies is on one side of this corner and the bus station is on the other). After turning left go staight until you hit the round about - this is where Joviant is (from memory): on top of the round about.

    • Yeah, I get that. I try to be as cost-efficient as possible with cars, and typically prefer to buy them at the bottom of their depreciation curve. I was looking at those Bilsteins too as they're roughly in the same price bracket as the BC's - lack of adjustability and being soft put me off, not that I want anything too hard. That's my issue with the Skyline, it's too expensive and it's reflected in my driving. I don't mind going full pelt as long as there's a gravel trap to catch me. Really, proper safety equipment is needed for total confidence. Well this just turned up for the BMW. I'll try and get the front together tomorrow and take some pics of the absolutely horrid rear end; perhaps I'll have a crack at the rear on Wednesday. I need to make the car drivable before the weekend as I'll be driving it over to London.

    • It does sound like a fuse considering the indicators work..I’ll triple check when I’m free and report back.    thanks for the reply.
    • no, the car was a manual 5 speed from the factory and still is.
    • While going through data logs late last week, I spotted a small issue with my WMI. My WMI starts to progressively inject at 11psi of boost. I'm using a 25psi cut in pressure switch on my WMI as an added safety and if the curve is linear, I should hit that 25psi on my WMI system around 13-14psi of boost.  As per my data logs, my WMI pressure switch only activates around 19psi of boost. This is causing my non WMI 4D map to trim for WMI. I'm presuming this is caused by the mechanical switch response time, injection curve not being linear or both.  I ordered a 2-10psi adjustable cut in pressure switch which should correct this. If this doesn't resolve it before my dyno appointment on Friday, I'll just remove the pressure switch temporarily and more than likely replace it with a pressure transmitter afterwards.    BTW Speedtek has yet to refund me.
