My car was scratched to the shitter today whilst i sat about in my apartment in the middle of the day on a saturday. Someone scrawled all over back of boot, bonnet and down both sides totally (the roof and spoiler are the only bits left untouched.

I say if any are caught doing this, it should be a swift execution, and if the owner of the car finds out who did it, they should be exhonerated of anything they do to the perpetrator.

So.....very....angry.

dunno what the point of this was but i just needed to rant to mass people i think. Hopefully most will buff out, but i'm thinking the bonnet will need to be resprayed.

Anyone know anyone who does some good detailing in the west sydney area?

keying cars honest to god has to be one of the lowest things you could do you hear people bitch (understandably) about their gt-r badge getting stolen which costs like $40 maybe a bit more but yea to have some **** for no good reason other than they have nothing better to do come and do that to your car which will cost people a couple of grand is ****ing bs. anyways dont normally nark up like this but i agree if it ever happens to my car and i caught who did i think i would have to get some major payback

they deserve to have people just line up and kick them in the nuts

:kick: :kick: :kick: :kick: :kick: :kick:

:hellpisd: Not much lower than this sort of scum :hellpisd:

Payback to the eXtreeeme. I hear a wipper snipper does nasty work on the human body!!

There was many random cars keyed on every panel down this way a few months back. Caught the guy but no name released by Police. My mates NEW SS ute was one of about 30 over a 3 week period. Resprayed through Insurance but doesn't make him feel better.

Justice will be served :sly: Patience.....

Know what your going thru mate, my wife's $80k Honda MDX has had someone park into the back left corner & some young tosser coin the whole side of the car in the same week!

At least it's now worth going thru insurance....

You know the worst thing, the side that was coined was up against a brick wall!

I know how you feel.... some one did the same thing to my R32. the ****ers did even over the little intercator lights on the back!!! I have so much anger in my body i think if i did see some one doing this to my car again, i would beat the ****ing shit out of them and chuck the prick in my boot, take him about 30min out of town into the bush ,, strip him naked take his shit, kick the **** out of him again and the leave the prick to find his own way back to town naked!

lol true...after not sleeping well last night we asked around the apartments this morning and turns out we've found 2 more people who have had this done yesterday at around the same time. One of was worse than mine.

A group of kids aged between 10-15 was seen hanging around too. They won't live to get their first root if i find em. They just used rocks from the gardens by the look of it....

After a bit of investigation on my part i found a few young kids who saw the other little bastards scratching up the 3 cars yesterday. Waiting for the cops to arrive as i write this....hopefully the little bastards (who live in our complex) will be flogged to within an inch of their lives and forced to pay for all the damage.

how did you go? they come over yet?

it would be good if that happens, but most likely you'll be paying for the little shits damage.

ha, i'm sure you could hire a little fatty from their school to do some dirty work for you.

arg... that sucks ass !! fark, yep i definatly think they should watch as their bmx bikes and xbox's are put into waste compactors and crushed into little cubes.. and then they probly just use the little cubes to key more cars !!! dear god.. they really are evil bastards, spose they cant key stuff without hands hey ?

I really feel for you man, it's heart breaking. My car was keyed to the metal down the drivers door early this year but luckily i found out who did it.

Let's just say, an eye for an eye. Except I ripped out two of theirs. I hope you are granted with the same opportunity.

I hope they make the mother/father pay for it ffs if they bring the kids up right they would not do it , My bro has had it done to a car he use to have & the worst part was it WAS a FRESH RESPRAY & the car was keyed from one end to the other & shit was chucked on the roof denting the roof so yeah not only did it go down to metal it flaked the paint because at that stage it was only about a week old

hahaha yeah...its a gut wrenching experience coming out to your car to see shit like that. Cops came and took all details that i'd found out. Then they went to take pictures of the 3 damaged cars and talk to the boys who told me about who had done it.

Thats the last i've heard so far. But i have had millions of daydreams about what to do to them if i see em about. Like the idea about throwing em in the boot and dropping em at blue mountains or something (but don't really wanna go to jail). they said if the evidence is solid the parents will have to pay repairs, but i'm not holding out too much hope.

I'll keep yas informed anyway.

man i really feel for you other guys who have had similar attacks. Firing squad offense i reckon

:D

    • 2001 BE5D Subaru Legacy B4 RSK (3rd gen) EJ208 (pink injector) Twin Turbo 280PS 5-speed manual Full time 4WD "RSK" grade which means all of the above LQC option which means stock rear spoiler  I got it primarily to export to someone outside Japan who was interested. These BE5 Legacy B4 RSKs are going through a bit of a resurgence right know in Japan as they are one of the few cars from the "turbo, manual, RWD/4WD, 280hp gentleman's agreement era" cars that don't require stupid money to purchase. Which for some people might be a good opportunity to get as a base for restoration. If I can't find anyone to purchase it I will certainly be doing that myself over the long term. Why? Because it's properly fast in stock form, handles well enough for a GT sedan, there's still enough aftermarket and (if you can wait a while) genuine part support to make it a restoration candidate (<-- that will only get worse over time so it's a case of do it now or choose get a BL5 4th Gen). Mechanically it's fine, has only 89,200kms on the odometer. The problem with this car is that the body and exterior trims are weathered from at least the last 10 years being parked outdoors. I'm the 3rd owner, the first owner was the one that had it for 14 years and barely drove it, had a low-speed front impact (which didn't damage anything behind the radiator support) and got it fixed and sold it. The 2nd owner put most of the kms on it and parked it outside for the last 10 years, hence the door rubbers have seen better days but if you overlook those cosmetic details, it presents pretty nicely. There is some minor rust on the LH rear wheel arch which I'll have looked at too at some stage.  Also as you'd expect from a car this age, the clear top coat is gone, leaving a satin finish on the roof.  Mechanically it's fine (as you would expect from a car with less than 100K kms) but the steering does feel slightly vague around the centre position at higher speeds. So first on the list is to get the steering rack bushes looked at. There's also the Lock button on the remote which doesn't work, but the Open button does.... it means that the anti-theft system thinks it's always open? It seems like if you open the car and don't start the engine within 3 mins or so the anti-theft kicks in again without any beeps or signals. So if you got to start it after that, it won't. You have to push the open button again. That's how I understand it anyway. Just a small irritation but not a big problem to sort out. There's only one mod, the Wangan SPL muffler. Just a tad louder than stock. It's a really good mod for those who don't want to wake the neighbours but still want to hear a more prominent unequal length header EJ20 sound. Anyway I hope to get all those things done eventually, that is unless someone wanted to import it to their country from Japan (where I live). I'm open for negotiations as I really would like a Skyline... but this will definitely suffice in the meantime 🙂 *Disclaimer: This is how I picked it up from the dealer, minus the stuff on the back seat. I haven't cleaned the engine bay or done a thorough exterior clean, aside from spray painting the wipers.
    • Wow, even with the Audi logo centre caps. I love OEM wheel mismatches.
    • Welcome!  Can't go wrong with a Stag.
    • Looks good. Nice height.
    • Hey all, a little help from the Stagea hive mind plz.. I'm days away from buying either a 2002 Stagea 250tRS AR-X Four, premium leather, power seats and all the old switches etc that go with it, or a 2002 Stagea 250tRS VR-X Four AERO, pov pack, cloth seats etc, with coil overs, sports zorst, comes with original zorst and suspension and parts. (I think I've got the models right?) Both are VQ25DET, have 160000kms, both straight no rust both with $2000+ in recent servicing receipts, both ride on aftermarket 18" rims. The Aero has a replaced turbo as well. I like the cool factor of the Aero car but the AR-X has never been modified. Neither have been driven hardly at all in the last 5 years. Any thoughts on which one or does it come down to personal preference? davemoto
