Big thanks to Paul also for being last to leave on Saturday night, making sure all cars (even if di(ks did leave with their cars unlocked and windows down) and play stations were secure.

Also for being one of the first ones back there on Sunday to set the play stations up again and keeping a close eye on the whole stand over the weekend :)

Ill second the above - thanks Paul (& Sarah).

EVERYONE from SAU put in a great effort over the weekend to promote the club and present a great display at MAS - I'm sure your all as tired as me this morning.

It was also great to see a number of SAU members come in, say hi and support the club as well.

Huge thanks to everyone from SAU and Fangartists for making it such a great weekend socially - Taco Bill's for dinner and margaritas then onto Area 61 for the after party. Great night!! :)

Congrats Leewah for recovering the dyno record (604awkw)!!! - and of course to Nige and the Ice boys who worked late Friday night to have the car ready.

Bring on November!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO TACO BILLS

gee sopme top stuff comes outta that place.

OK, thanks to everyone that has put in enourmous effort of the weekend, its a damn long one.

I've just slept for 12 hours straight i was that tired. I could so another 6 easily im sure.

Every single person from SAU-Vic and Fandgers deserves a pat on the back as the weekend went smooth as silk due to everyones massive time and effort that has been put in.

It was by far one of the most fun MAS Weekend's i have had for a few years.

Also awesome too se that dyno was rocked all weekend by all our cars which really makes out stand on the performance car style :)

Nexst year we try get EVERYONE on the dyno :D

thanks again guys, you are the oens that make the stand. I just tell you where to park your cars and order polo's ;)

Nice to see you guys again,

a big well done to leewah, and all the other who made it to the show (with car) i will hopefully be joining you next year :)

Better get my arse to a couple more meetings, seems like i'm always upto my armpits in grease whenever a meeting is on....

That autobarn chick (stacey i think) the one on the right spent about 15 minutes trying to convince me to buy turbos from autobarn :) i spent the 15 minutes trying to convince her to come back to my house..

aaaanyway, should do some work

Hey - no one has mentioned it yet but Kudos needs to go to Berin for being the biggest Pimp Daddy of them all.

I can wait to see ALL the pics of his car with the girls he got. Must have had close to 50 chicks he managed to get posing with his car. Fair effort really.

Looks like a fantastic weekend guys and girls, well done. I couldnt make due the the girlfriends birthday on saturday and going away for the weekend. Next time though.

A lady I work with who had never heard of it took her son on Saturday night and said what a fantastic event it was. Her 9 year old son thought the skylines were the best so well done and watch out for the newest, youngest member!

All the pics floating around are awesome also.

Good to meet you all and have a crack on the dyno lots of fun! Was a Bit Gay that 40 of the trophys went to the same 2 cars, damn there where some nice cars there that should have been recognised in some way. So yeah a good weekend will be joining 'offically' soon itching to get out on the track.

    • Hopefully it ends up being something manageable, like a hone, rather than a full bore—it would be a huge relief if it’s not as bad as it looks. Hang in there; these setbacks are annoying, but it sounds like you’re handling it as smartly as possible.
    • At the end of the day, it’s all about understanding the odds and being comfortable with the potential cost, whether it’s horsepower on a build or chips on a roulette table. And I have to say, the Laine example made me laugh—some people really do embrace that carefree, “roll and see” attitude!
    • Thanks MBS206, i got that PDF but got abit overhelm with all the connections and tracing of wires. I wasn't expecting to plug the dash harness anywhere. i was just going to use my electronics jumper wires to plug into the right pins like ECU power, ecu ground, ignition trigger etc... I do have a few ratchet straps locking it down tight. Fire extinguisher ready and only a small amount of fuel at a time, enough to submerge the pump.
    • Thanks GTSBoy, i will do abit more digging. I am missing a blue relay near the ECU connector... so i will chase that up in the next few days as well
    • https://yariksteel.ru/manual/R33/Skyline_R33_elektroprovodka.pdf   Page 18 should be what you want for the Dash Cluster wiring. Though, you don't need the dash plugged in to get the motor running. What you want is power as how GTSBoy said. You need to power the ECU. Find in the above link the ECU pin outs (Verify them before just connecting them up from things written on the internet). Find anything needing power, give it power, find anything needing ground, give it ground. Then give the starter motor power through a big cable, and bridge the solenoid on the starter straight to power too.  ECU will be on, and when you give the starter power, it'll spin the starter motor, and it should start. I also hope you have a proper stand, and not just the engine sitting on some wood. You will want it bolted down properly.
