Trust Power Extreme 2, fairly quiet on idle etc but really opens up when you put you foot down and has a nice note. Don't know who would sell them in Perth though, i can only point you in the direction of Advan Performance in Sydney who could ship one to you but i'd say shipping would be worth a bit.

I second the Trust PE2. It's got a great sound when you give it some loud pedal but is very sedate around town. To top it off its pretty easy to get hold of.

I bought mine from Advan as noted above and I'm certain they could ship you one to perth fairly cheaply.

I need something soon.

It cant be to loud, but it has to sound a bit meaty.

about a 3-4 inch outlet and inlet that can connect to my high flow cat.

local in perth would be a bonus but will to ship if it doesnt take long.

any suggestions?

i recommend a custom-made from your local exhaust shop - cheaper than an aftermarket one, exactly to your specifications, and everything about it will be brand new!

Also, the jap made ones hang too low... (defectably low)

I'd sugest something like one of Hi-Tech Mufflers bolt on systems if your worried about noise (legallity) of the system, they generally flow pretty well and are designed to meet the noise, emmissions and ground clearance/exhaust fitting ADR's.

you can check them out here

www.hitechmufflers.com

other that thet, i'd suggest finding a good local exhaust shop and getting one custom made to your requirements

This Trust PEII, at 3.5 inch would it be under 90db (legal?) and does it hang very low?

actually, has anyone got a 3.5 inch that is legal?

ive got a 3.5 inch tipped cannon with 3 inch straight through.... im 100% sure it ISNT legal lol, sounds the part but, thats all that matters to me, lucky where i live cops are idiots when it comes 2 jap imports... " duh a nishan skywhat??? " :whatsthat. hehehe, im screwed when one comes around that know stuff about import cars but lol, till then :)

Trust Power Extreme II's have 3in piping, sit close to the chassis, and come in at about 92dB @ 4800rpm (apparently). They're available at Autobarn for 900ish, or also from SAU trader BT-Revolution here: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=75916

    • Don't even try to run it on the stock ECU if you're going to have the boost controller bring boost above ~10 psi. I've already told you that. If you use the Nistune ECU, you will need to CAREFULLY read the available documentation for Neo tuning, and read some threads on the Nistune forums, to discover the various things you have to do to prevent the ECU from going bananas when the boost is too high. The is a table associated with th boost sensor that must be modified to prevent it from shitting the bed. This is just one of the things that you will need to do to the tune in Nistune, because the Neo turbo ECU will be expecting to see a number of things (such as the TCS) that are not there, and you have to block the DTCs on those. It is totally not surprising to me that you are having the problems that you are, but the solutions to these problems have been known for >15 years. So just get it done.
    • Hi. Sry iam not a mechanic and iam not at the car atm so i dont know 100% but they told they measure those and even try to change those. AFM they have two. Coils are new a they have my old one too. Plugs too. ECU...we have 25 NEO stock and Nistune 25 NEO.   But i dont know if any one those could be the problem and why/if/what can cause this, Only thing they did not check is fuel...but that walbro 255 is new(like 1,5 years)... That fuel pressure gauge idk...but i let them know Any suggestions?   EDIT: how can they know if it is like you say he ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high? Tha car has boost controler
    • Can you clarify what you mean by boost cut, do you mean it misfires both when under load (driving) and when stationary and out of gear? Or does the ECU pull power when it reaches a specific boost level that is too high (boost control issue)? Does it occur at idle with no throttle? When you say "the ECU is OK", what ECU is it and why do you think it is OK? Have you used the NEO ECU, and if so do you have a MAP sensor attached? Same for the AFM, why do you think it is OK? Do you have any way to put a fuel pressure gauge on it (even just a mechanical one between the fuel filter and fuel rail)?
