should do with guard rolling and even some camber. Should look good.

Do a search for 'volk' int he thread about best looking wheels on a skyline and im sure you will find someone else who has done it...

Will front 19 x 8.5 +27/ rear 19 x 9.5 +24 fit on a r33 GTST? The rims are Volk GT-Cs

Yes. The rear lip will tease just out the guard. Maybe by a cm or so.

The front will sit inside the guard by a smidgeon.

I'm speaking from experience aswell. My rims are 8.5 +25 and 9.5 +25

I know its been done to death but...

My ECR33 currently has 17x8 +35 F 17x9 +38 R which sit totally safely but look a little weak.

I am looking at some 17x9 +25 wheels all round

Current ride height is 330mm centre of wheel to guard.

I want to run 255/40 on the rear and as little negative camber as possible- will this require much guard work?

Just about to buy set of new Lenso D1R rims for my 32GTR

I don't like stretched tyres on rims so looking for right size rims to sit flush with guards without any part of tyres or rims poking out so thought i'd ask you guys your opinions

I can get these 2 sizes which i think would be right for a 32GTR

18x9 +15

18x10 +22

Would the 10" rims fit both front and rear on these cars without poking out?

Now in saying this i don't like the look of stretched tyres either so i would need something around 265 or bigger right?

Don't mind running staggered fitment either as long as all fits under guards

Any help appreciated as want to get it right first time

Thanks for input earlier guys, ended up getting the 18x10's with +22

So next question i have is tyres

Obviously there are so many to choose from but ones i'm looking at are Toyo's flagship T1 Sport tyres

Sizes i was considering were either 265/35, 275/35 or 285/35

I'm kinda leaning towards 275 at moment

Anyone know if i'll have any clearance problems if i choose the 275 or 285 options?

Hey guys.

Any of yous running something like::

Rims: 18 x 8, +38

Tyres: 235/40

all around on the R34 gtt?

my main concern is whether it'll rub on any of the suspension parts, given its high offset.

any help would be heaps appreciated :)

Want to go with something ridiculous! Currently got 18x8.5 +22 and 18x9.5+22 on my 32 gtst. Rears sit flush with guards and fronts not so much.

Was thinking of going 18x10 +10 and 18x11.5+10. Got coilies and front/rear camber adj. so don't mind having to pull some crazy camber to fit them under the guards. Alternatively, I was thinking of going GTR front fenders in the near future but I want that tough pumped/flared guards look. Thoughts?

Lollll your front will sit a further ~31mm further out than your current wheels so I'd say yes you would need gtr front fenders and the rear is going to sit 37mm further out and I'm pretty sure that would require a flare from memory for a r32... But I'm sure one of the r32 guys will clarify that for you! Good luck!!

GTR front guards plus rolling/flaring and 30-50mm rear guards would be required in your case.

My neighbour is attempting to whack 18x10.5 +15 with 265/35 semi slicks on his 32 GTST, he is getting rear guards flaring quite a lot.

Just curious, what wheels are you getting?

Thanks guys! I figured as much. Now just deciding if I'm going to go widebody rear fenders or just go flares...

Wheels I'm planning to get Count Grantleyish are Meister S1's. Love the way they look on 32's

Wise choice.

I've got a set in 18x10.5 +22, pity 33 GTR guards are huge, these look sunken even on standard suspension... Also sunken on my previous 32 GTR which was reasonably lowered.

    • Why are you so adamant on going M12? Why not follow Brad (GTSBoy) suggestion. You're talking moving from a 1/8" size, to a 1/2" effectively. 4 times bigger. Why skip the commonly available sizes in between? The bigger you go, the more likely you are to strip the threads out at a later date, as guaranteed, someone will put a huge spanner on the M12 and really tighten it up, and you're only in thin wall, so not a lot of threads to engage!
    • Hi. Yeah thanks. Car is already at tuners and it staying there to resolve "many" issues they do not like. So it is in a good hands. Getting a good tune on that Nistune ECU too so the car would be good. Just needs a little tune up and love.
    • Probably gonna remove manifold and turbo. I’m not sure if I can get M12 x 1.5 air tight. Could use high temp Loctite 246 or something similar, but I don’t know. Maybe it’s just best to remove everything again and weld an 1/8NPT on there instead.
    • Yeah, saw the ratios, not impressed. Would like the punch I have in the first gears now. With those ratios it won't be the same.  Also want the h pattern gearing, or at least a quiet gear set that don't need to come apart for service each year. Looks like the only "reasonable" way Is a 8hp70 transmission, but where is the fun in that🤷‍♂️
