not so bad, you can now buy something that works. HUMM, maybe i should do thesame. LOL.

On another note, i scorred all the gaskets and studs and bits and pices needed for the exhaust manifold repair for $154 all up. YEEHHHAAAA.

Looks like i have sold my snotter :(

damn :ermm::ban:

:O you shouldn't even have to ask what the plan is!!!

Still got the turbo for sale though Toff :P

Id love to buy your 33 but i just need some wheels to get around the net few weeks as it is without being fancy!!!

wogs....what was your torque reading on the 25?

at 170rwkw my torque was 550.2Nm !!!

dam thats ship loads. maybe i should bold an old rb30 in my 32 and bolt on a dirty old turbo. surly that would spin the wheels easy.

hahahah, you can feel the torque, well after owning silvias, r32 gtst, r31 gts with rb25, 300TT, vr4 etc etc.....Like the torque of the RB30.

Yeah turbo on, just sorting out the little problems like getting the raditator flushed today and the flywheel machined (damn vibrations in the clutch made it look like I was a retard trying to drive)

LOL. yeah i miss tourqe, the magan has a bit over 400 nM at the front wheels, and that is GREAT, any gear, bag, your away. Skyline, you need to rev it to get anywhere. LOL.

Well done mate, can't wait to see it.

On an up note, found out last night that my FICD, FIRTS IDLE CONTROLL DEVICE solenoid, doesn't work. See if this makes any differance.

plan B, build the bitch up, pronto. LOL.

That requires money and i owe more than i have let alone coming up with enough to rebuild it.

Im going to strip as much off/out of the shit heap as i can and flog it all along with the rolling shell!!!

Then once thats done im out of cars for a while, IM OVER THEM and all there PROBLEMS

Before you get too excited about torque figures remember a dyno set up in power mode (eg rwkw) will not accurately measure torque.

I mean, if the dyno was set up for a torque reading and you got 550Nm then that's an awesome result, but if it wasn't then there is absolutely no truth in that figure. This was a big problem after the dyno day with Dr Drift when everyone started saying "I have such and such Nm", when all their figures were complete rubbish.

    • Find out what RPM it was idling at with the IACV unplugged. It's very weird that the rpm didn't change at all, and then it stalled. When it stalls is it nearly like a switch off, like you've turned the engine off? Or is it more stutters and sputters and coughs to death over a few seconds? Or does the RPM just slowly keep going down and down? Have you done a test of trying to start it with the AFM unplugged? Does it still die?     If you Follow Josh's advice on using Nistune to check the voltages (which is a perfect method!) if you see anything out of wack voltage wise, THEN get the multimeter out and read the voltage directly at the sensor. If the two vary, then you're now looking for a wiring issue vs a sensor issue. So be aware, what the ECU sees, may not be what the sensor is actually saying too...
    • You very likely need to get it on a dyno and tune it. My assumption is, you've got an RB25DET tune in it, which has a different manifold, different injectors, and different cams as a minimum. What O2 sensor are you running?   When you say it runs extremely rich from idle all the way to redline, is this just free revving it you see that?
    • I seem to the be only person that is using a Haltech 2500 on an NA motor, I've installed a Bosch DBW throttle body to the OEM intake manifold and am having problems maintaining AFR even with the wideband o2.  It will run extremely rich at idle and up to redline, but under load it will go extremely lean in the 20s and i'm essentially having to rev it over 4k and feather the clutch to get it up to speed.  I've read a few other threads of about the butterfly, it seems removing the vacuum to it is supposed to have it remain open, i've noticed no difference under 4k with the vacuum line to it plugged.  I'm hoping someone here has had luck using the NA manifold with Haltech, and if they happen to have a tune for it.
