Might have to invest in one myself :whistling: , speaking of , i went and got my 34 outta storage tonight :woot: , i'm not sure yet what i'm gunna do with it yet , i'm trying to talk myself out of putting a kinugawana (spelling?) t67 copy on it with support :nuke:

I Just bought my Nistune for my 32 for $580 shipped to my door with everything i need to do all the tuning myself, hard to go past them for a simple plug-in option.

Yeah that seems to be the cheapest way to do it. They're so friggin easy to tune too, I had a look at the software and it looks pretty friendly. Plus if you've got a wideband with an output they can auto tune off that! Then once you've got the AFRs down pat you can wind some timing in till she pings pirate.gif Then back it off a little.

Definitely don't do that.... whistling.gif You better have a car out at the next SAU track day, more than 2 months away so no excuses!

well short story short i bought the 34 that used to park out the front of mykonos in town , it needs some love which i shall give it , has a hideous bomex bodykit (and stickers) which i'm taking off in favor of a altia (nismo) bodykit which i've already purchased along with some trim bits (some tool painted the center console purple  ) , it needs shockies and i'm onto some bilsteins from the old sydneykid packages and i'm up in the air whether to just get it tuned with std turbo or get it highflowed with aim of 250rwk or go 3076 or t67 for ~300rwk  , but i can't start buying parts 'till i make my mind up  . i'll put some pics up as soon as i take some

What is your project ben??

34 nice pick !! :worship:

how much was that if you don't mind me asking?

also, i'd go see brad at boost for a nistune

pretty sure they will support up to about 500hp (don't know exactly) but it will support bigger injectors, bigger afm, and lots of stuff (plus they keep being able to unlock more and more features with every new firmware update)

rocker covers started around (+sand blast) 80$ then it all changes with more parts isame colour or diff and if they will need a light blast first but ill ge going back later on for some bits n pcs.

Well for my latest project Im still chasing a S13 steering rack and power steering pump and then continue on fabrication and body work.

Might have you under my belt. Let me have a look over weekend. I have quite abit of S13 gear still

i dont think they do a plug in nistune for a 34 ?? i have hurd i need to get a 300zx ecu wired in and the chiped that to suit the 34 ?? or is it bull shit ?? know of any1 who has dont it for a 34>?>

you have heard wrong

r34 ecu is nistuneable, r33 is the one that is gay

I had a Nistune board in my R34. You buy a Nistune daughter board then you need to get the the factory daughter board unsoldered and the Nistune board soldered in.

I still have the software some where on one of my laptops

Just wanted to thank all my mates who are helping me out with the difficult times, keep me grinning at the worst times! Cant thank them enough, HTS Garage - NW, VIC, And Hobart Divisions, Drifting Tas and everyone else!

And a big thanks to my friends who wrote this for me. The cars at the bottom looked 6months of work better than that when they died :(

    • This sounds very old of me, however since buying the Tiguan shit box, my view on shit boxes have changed.
    • I've looked up the parts number (41011AL501). It's around $700 OEM. Usually our Infiniti G35 here in Canada have interchangeable parts with my Stagea but the parts number are not the same. I have looked around and it seems the JDM 2005 V35 Skyline (which is the same as our G35) has the same caliper but I cannot confirm. And I can't find a repair kit. The inner brake pads drags on the rotor, seems to be rusty piston. Thanks for the info by the way
    • This coupled with 6-9 speed autos with ridiculously short gearing is why these modern shitbox cars always seem so fast off the line. If it wasn't for those things, Raptors would not seem fast. The problem we have is there is a driveability gap between a more gentle take off and a wheelspinning sideways launch. The difference between ankle flex required to achieve one and ankle flex required to achieve the other is about 0.5°.
    • Yeah I think I'm also with the opposite here. It's 'hard to keep up with traffic' because in the real world I'm accelerating with 15% throttle and they are pinning it. It feels like I'm being an overt dickhead at anything above 15% throttle, so the car sounds like I'm being an overt dickhead to keep up with/get ahead of traffic when I'm really just trying to drive with traffic. There would be no issue 'keeping up with traffic' if we used the same level of throttle input/aggression to drive around. People really do just drive around with their foot nearly pinned in econoboxes.
    • To be fair it's the other way around. 300kw is boring in a modern Golf or BMW. They are so competent / well-engineered / devoid of emotion that you have to go stupid fast to feel anything. Whereas the <300kw RB still makes all the right noises and it feels good to drive. Can pull off at the lights with the turbo whooshing and the blow-off pssshing and feel like the coolest kid on the block. Just don't look to the side where you'll see the bored housewifes in their shitbox Yaris/Corolla/Camry that kept up because you didn't go fast at all
