Guards around 500 each for front and 1500 each for rear ( rears needed a inner guard.

Does anyone know of where I can find a RB26DETT from , a good one?

I have a very healthy RB26DETT on an R33 Skyline (was previously GTST) so its got all the conversion plugs etc on it already. Car is running and can be tested if you like. Was dyno'd on 10psi at 198rwkw. PM me if you're interested.

I agree on fake badging a non genuine car, MOST of the time.

BUT if you ask me, the WORST thing you can get is a car that is OBVIOUSLY not a GTR, and then has GTR badges all over it, that sh!ts me because its so obvious.

As long as this car looks 100% like a 34GTR from all aspects outside the car, then i wouldnt have a problem with it, as long as nothing points to the fact that its a mock up! To everyone else bar the owner and his friends, this car is the real deal R34 GTR, so you get my ok on the bagdes

i havent studied the pics thoroughly, does it have the correct rear quarters?

its obvious that a conversion like this may not be worth it in terms of what you end up with, but i dont think there is any need for others to state the obvious! Its his money and as long as he is chuffed with his end result thats all that matters at the end of the day.

cheers

I feel your pain. I bought 4 last week. Its a killa on the wallet

LIES - But in all honesty I had so much change in my pocket after dinner last night I popped by Porsche and purchased a GT3, heck i even got a discount for paying in shrapnel.

True story

bwhahahahahah

Why dont you sell both and buy a proper GTR

Have u ever raced someone in the GTT and when they won did they go "HA! I BEAT A GTR" and u go "HA! last laughs on u... its just a GTT"

The car looks damn nice but unless you have the performance to match i dont think you should be putting any GTR badges on there... it just kinda cheapens the real thing.

As Dan the Man was saying, I can just see some guy braggin to his mates he thrashed a Vspec GTR... tsk tsk tsk...

    • Hello!  i just finished manual swaping my r34 skyline with a r33 rb20de box(RB71C)box  When the car is running it squeaks crazy loud and it was smoking from the gearbox area. The gearbox is fine it was tested. The clutch slave cylinder seems like it doesn't fully releases the clutch. I want to ask if this noise is from the throw out bearing or could it be the clutch assembly or disk att.xFliq87Gzw6kImKBVqDebXkj0fBqymk0JaYeP3_3SlM.mp4
    • A few small updates since the previous post and lessons. I decided to do a little interior light upgrade on the 110. I quite like the iilumo items, even if they're a bit of a premium over other brands. You'll also note the Stedi Fogs, that will go into the S15 fog lights as I needed to match the bulbs since I got the new ones earlier. I hope they fit as the body is quite a bit longer than your normal bulb.  Annoyingly, I managed to trip the fuse, which normally wouldn't be an issue until I located the fuse. I can't say I've ever come across this. I had lucked out that someone nearby had a spare, but oddly enough Toyota dealerships seem to keep this in stock. I ordered some to keep in my stash and as luck would have it, someone else nearby tripped the same fuse so I passed on the favour.  I also did a little service on the 110 ahead of some additional work coming up. It's been annoying that Goleby's stopped carrying this particular HKS filter for the 110, so now I need to keep them on order from Japan. I also took the opportunity to install a bash plate and number plate riser. The plate riser is such a cheap but nice fix to help really tidy up the car. I'm tempted to now also replace my headlights, on this car. Both items were from Project Aero.    I also needed to replace the rear tyres on the 110, and after trying to get it aligned learnt that I need to replace some bushes in the front end, so that's next.  Closing out this update with a nicer picture as always!
    • Yeah mate, never miss it.
