  1. HFM BM57 has a "bad" knee point, IIRC. It's not the same thing as the later R chassis MC.
  2. It's needed for rolling idle up, and I think it is a decider on VCT also.
  3. Any motive drag video at Coota.
  4. Resizing injectors in Nistune can be done a couple of ways, and there are a couple of ways that you can make a mess of it. The tuner needs to be really aware of the effects of whichever approach he uses (either K, or TIM). They are both easy enough to "get the injector size right" to run the engine. But little details like old start enrichment and hot start are affected differently, depending on which boxes you check.
  5. Injectors? Note, there is no way that I would run E85 on stock injectors. They are too small.
  6. At least it's only NA and therefore less likely to have pinged itself to death.
  7. This. Assuming that the 2nd version (turns over) is the truth and not the first version (just clicks). Just clicks is, of course, an indicator of a starter solenoid not liking to work when hot.
  8. 9" +35 will rub on the suspension. R33 GTR wheels are +30.
  9. Cliff's for those of us who refuse to even click a bookface link?
  10. See if you can thermal epoxy a heatsink or two onto it?
  11. Put the ECU's MAP line in your mouth. Blow as hard as you can. You should be able to see about 10 kPa, maybe 15 kPa positive pressure. Suck on it. You should be able to generate a decent vacuum to about the same level also. Note that this is only ~2 psi either way. If the MAP is reading -5 psi all the time, ignition on, engine running or not, driving around or not, then it is severely f**ked. Also, you SHOULD NOT BE DRIVING IT WITHOUT A LOAD REFERENCE. You will break the engine. Badly.
  12. Could be correct. Meter might be that far out. Compare against a known 5 ohm 1% resistor.
  13. 9" wheels are a little too wide for a RWD 32. They can fit. People have put R33 GTR wheels on 32s for years and years. But they are a very tight squeeze. This has been known for about 30 years. As I said - there is no difference between a 17 and an 18 in terms of what will fit. The rolling diameter needs to stay about the same as stock - not very much larger. If you increase that, you will start to have problems. If you increae rolling diamater at the same time as yo increase width, you will have problems earlier. as 9" wheels are pushing the boundaries already, you would need to be careful with tyre choice. I would put 8.5s on the front of mine, but would expect problems with 9s.
  14. I saw you mention this earlier and it raised a red flag, but I couldn't believe it was real. Yes, the vacuum signal should vary. It is the one and only load signal from the engine to the ECU, and it MUST vary. It is either not connected or is badly f**ked up in some way.
