Perhaps, could this sectoin also include people who have fabrication gear e.g. welders etc who don't mind doing small things for sau rates (as opposed to overpriced workshops)?
-
primordial. I think the reason is because from the looks of it, is yours a siI cluster? I can see the little round circles. When your car boots up, are those little lights round or square. If it's sI, then the lights are square. SII then they're round. I have at various stages had both clusters and your bezel looks like an sI shape?

I'm getting my r33 ecu remapped after I put my turbo in. It'll be about 350.

ash, I believe they sort of did. From what I understand (correct me if i'm wrong), but gcg used to have a stage 1 and stage2. The stage 2 had mass compressor surge. I believe that the one they sell now, is some sort of compromise between the both of them. GCG won't tell ya. That's what they do. they just go i'll check and call you back. they don't want you to know what they use. It is pretty obvious if you have one and measure it and check it against the catalogue for sierra wheels.

does anyone possibly ever search? this question is asked like every week and it's in the tutorial section. Short answer - yes, it's easy if you hvae small hands. if not, find someone who does, or start removing stuff that's in the way

replace the terminal? simple?
-
Jordon, probably incorrect mounting. The thing is, sure, a gtr assembly may go straight in, but most people don't sell the gtr pump with the assembly. With the exception of those that have bought a complete nismo replacement which includes cradle (expensive), others who upgrade the pump replace just the pump and keep the cradle. If it rattles, make sure you clamp it to the cradle harder. Some people use a bit of rubber between the cradle and the pump, but I find that uncessary. Stock pumps and cradle don't use rubber, so it's not necessary. Just make sure it's clamped tight, so it can't move. If it makes noise, add another hose clamp

How much would it cost to do a DECENT sound deadening job (diy of course)? I knwo that everyone's decent has a different meaning, but lets just say such that the car becomes significantly quieter so that you can actually hear it. Not like a 1db drop that can only be detected using a db metre. Would that just be doing both doors? possibly parts of the boot/rear quarters? underneath the rear seat? rear seat sides? floor? roof? behind dash?

mould? carmate don't mould their own kits. They just buy them premade from asia also nismo, inspecting is hard. Unless it's something like a bonnet where you can unbolt yours and bolt it on and test it, other stuff is hard. e.g. a front bar. you might need to chop your reo for it to fit, so it's not like you can just take yours off, and put it there to try etc etc. On my other car, I took it there, unbolted the reo, more material still needed to be taken off to make it fit. that's where the trouble began. for quality, look at that thread too. there's plenty said about the quality as well as the service

If you look carefully on some of them, they say not for australia. It's only a matter of time. I've decided that that's when i'm gonna go for the screens. With the influx of window mounted units, it's only a matter of time before the built in ones in the screens become common

Hahaha, pornos are boring. Fireworks are where the action is at! lol

Last minute post. I'm leaving tomorrow morning guys. Anyone, anything.

um, perhaps you ought to read down a couple threadS? There was just a thread about this like 2 days ago, and another one last week. You may think that you don't care about customer service. Sure, it's fine if the product is perfect, and it fits perfectly straight on. But what about if you go to a bodoykit shop and the product is absolutely shit and the guy doens't wanna deal with you at all. Tells you to f**k off, and doesn't care about threat of legal action? Do you care about customer service now?

THAt much lag for only 200 rwkw? What sort of highflow is it? I dare say that a stock rb25 turbo running 14-15 psi (ASSUMING the exhaust wheel didn't shit itself) would make 200 rwkw on an rb20. Is that much lag worth it for that little power?
-
If you were in sydney, i could help ya. It's honestly not that hard. IF you don't know what you're doing though, I wouldn't touch it. Tens of thousands of volts. It WILL give you a very very nasty shock and maybe even kill you. PS: please tell me that you're installign oem hid? if not, I wouldn't even bother. Expect poor light, defects, other drivers high beaming you
-
That's a bit of a contradiction. You said not high hp, then 350rwkw? 350rwkw is not cheap. Perhaps you'd better let us know what his maximum budget is, then we can let him knnow what he can AFFORD for the price, rather than what is NICE since the engine is open?
-
I would dare say that it probably wouldn't explode at 100 psi. It is probably not wise on thier part not to have some extra just in case. Also, keep in mind that your factory hoses are like 15 years old. They probably wouldn't handle 100 psi.

Opinions Of R34 Gtr Prices
MANWHORE replied to NISMO's topic in Importing, Compliance, Modification Laws & Regulations
Oh course it will go down. Cars (excluding vintage cars) always depreciate generally. When I first bought my sII r33 gtst, they were going for about 30k. r33 gtrs were going for about 50k. When the r34 first came out, prices remained the same for a tiny while. But then even the price of the r34s started to drop. e.g. before, you could only get an r34 gtt for about 30k. They dropped and you can now buy one for 20k. This made the price of r33 gtsts drop. One thing to note, is that once a car hits rock bottom, they don't really drop anymore, but obviously, this is no where near the case with r34s. E.g. commos and stuff tend to bottom out at about 3-5k. Once they go to this price, they don't go any lower unless if they're dead. Whether they're 15 years old or 20 years old, it's still the same price. the same has happened to r32s and s13s. They've hit rock bottom. As they are considered a sports car, they're more expensive than say a commo. In say 5 years time, I don't predict the price of r32 gtsts getting any cheaper. But yeah, for the 34 gtr, in 5 years, it could be 40k. That is not to say that there is anything wrong iwth those people that have bought it at a high price. They have enjoyed it for all this time, and it is 5 years more modern now then it will be in 5 years time. Just like those that buy new cars, and those that buy second hand. -
I thought that on the first page, it said that those buying the leds get 4 x 2 led packs. That is, they get 8 LEDS. Also, kez, tehse are normal t10 leds: Are the cyber stork ones just like these? : If so, the second type gives a wide angle, and they are known as inverted lens LEDs.

D Style Wings - Buy From Carmate? No?
MANWHORE replied to steveo_r33's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
I'm not gonna say anything bad about car mate. There is this place that I coulda sworn sounded very similar to car mate that I wouldn't ever go to though. hmmm... I wonder what the name is. The people at that place are arrogant pricks, have shit quality parts, shit service if you try and bring stuff back. If you have a problem, you will not get a refund. Simple as that. Even me wanting to swap for something else in the store, took about 5 hours of telling the prick off The guys at said place also stink like asian fish. -
manual says 1.8L. I normally get about 1.6L out to be exact. Diff oil is really thick, so it really hangs onto the stuff in the diff.
