R34 GT-Four RB26 Time Attack Build
jake26 replied to Luke_ENR34's topic in Members Cars, Project Overhauls & Restorations
Epic revival! Is this build still going at all? OP hasn't logged on for almost a month but there could still be hope! -
Bumparoony... Just finished watching Part 2. Was very well made. Love the introduction with the R33 Gtr. The film has definitely broadened my perspective on the car scene and helped define it's purpose so to speak.

Any updates?

That's exactly right. I'm a firm believer in "Treat people how you expect to be treated". -

I went through a RBT, licence check and "random" vehicle inspection station. When I pulled up I had my phone on record the whole time. All went to plan until my mate started ringing me. I restarted the recording and then the officer caught onto it. He told me that he was recording the conversation if I wanted to use it in court later on. I told him that's fine mate and I continued recording without trouble. (I was holding the phone in my hand normally, being discrete with it but participating in the conversation) -

How are you finding your exhaust over your old titanium one? This would be much quieter I'd imagine. A video would be good for comparison -

R34 Gtt Brake Master Cylinder Bore Size

Even a part number would be good. BMC50 or something like that I believe... not 100% on that -
So I decided to not be a lazy SOB and get off my ass and polish the car and tidy her up a bit last weekend. I'm pretty happy with the result. Thanks for reading guys, can't wait to get the front brakes on as well... gonna look so good! Not to mention brake better

Another update: Went into to my mechanics on Friday to get the brakes and rotors fitted. Ran into a few minor dramas, nothing serious but There is a heat shield thing around the hub that needed trimming for the rotors to fit properly. So we managed to trim that right back out of the way. We started by fitting the rears first, simply because it was a bolt on affair. The front mounting points on the other hand can accommodate Brembo's from factory. This is a 10mm bolt hole I believe, but the GTT rotors mounting point is larger, so it would need to be drilled out and what not. That's why we did the rears first. Now, the following pictures are of the rear brakes only simply because my Brake Master Cylinder cannot fuel the 4 pot awesomeness that the fronts provide. I'm in need of a GTT BMC but I'm not sure what the bore size is on that one, so if anyone could help me out that would be greatly appreciated. Now that I've rambled on... onto some pictures of the goodies I can't get enough of that colour hey! looks epic I reckon....

Sure do, put up pictures the other day. Check my build thread

Here you go, excuse the dirty rims and car. My rotors have arrived as well RDA Slotted and dimpled. I got a full set of front and rears.... gonna look sweeettt!!!
