  1. Thread made me retarded
  2. Yes S more nos. And I f**ked it, my story about bleeding off boost casing an issue is only if you are cool and have an atmo blow off valve
  3. it will bleed boost if the line is connected. how much? dont know. should you do it? no will OP get a GTR with an RB20DET and decide it needs less power? no. and............... Overlooked by Duncan, understandably as the whole premise of taking boost away but leaving the turbo installed is a dumb idea that wont happen, car will run like shit as air bled off has been measured by AFM then escaped before engine. But who cares.
  4. We need to hear the beast. Or is audio equipment not able to handle the sorcery that is a 2 into 1 merge?
  5. You going to straight pipe an rb20de ? Please don’t
  6. Wow man, look at it go, that head is a beast. Ignoring the torque dropping off and power plateauing and being pretty much no where near 9500rpm you can really tell the head something something
  7. OP, you show us how it is done. are you selling or buying a car?
  8. but............... heaps of people use spacers and there arent wheels flinging off all over the place. Something else happened here.
  9. Nice, pretty sure I saw that on gumtree Good work!
  10. The chassis plate tells you how the car was built , same as any car
  11. Resale of a 20yr old car isn't linked to initial rrp. Supply and demand.
  12. a mate has one and they seem ok . I dont like the way the inlet tube goes to the bottom, we chopped it off a bit so there is a gap to the bottom if oil pools in there. The theory being if oil is in the bottom any blowby will bubble that up like crazy, and so long as you are below that lowest baffle it is doing it's job. Also put some coarse steel wool in top layer, but to be honest car doesnt put anything into the can anyway so cant comment if any of that was worthwhile.
  13. Which is a dumb comparison. A smaller single will do that. Their own data seems to show that their twins are all in a that power, extra 4 or 5 psi made no difference to peak. Give the gtx35 an extra 5 psi and see what happens....
  14. they are selling twins..... above is my amazing work overlaying the 2 graphs. it seems pretty pointless but i did it!! I dont think a shop positng photos of a dyno monitor is really providing data. Heaps more info is needed for proper comparison otherwise it is alll just lines on a page. oh and for that crazy work above i matched the powev figure and x axis (sort of), the boost axis didnt match but doesnt really matter. DATA!
  15. It's also a shame it's a shop comparing their turbos to others.......... Based on this post the extra 5psi on their twins gained nothing up top https://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=3537861622909572&id=136477713047997&set=a.1284279384934485&refid=13&__tn__=%2B%3Dp...
  16. Looks more like both runs same turbo, blue run using vcam
  17. That twin power graph looks odd. Why did they stop the run when power still climbing?
  18. replacing a radiator on a 20 year old car is a pretty normal thing to do, not sure why the concern above?
  19. the locator ring being stuck points to an issue. What is the inner diameter of your rims and what you ordered?
  20. Do some logs with the Haltech, dowload into Virtual dyno software (free). Thats the better option than wild guesses. very nice looking car, would definitly be fun!
  21. looks bad, did you remember to give it a few extrra ugga-dugga's when tightening up the nuts with the rattle gun? to be fair I think something else has happened here, perhaps that locating ring size was wrong?
