Read this thread - ultimate RB "pull hard" setup, make numbers in the range of GT35R peak power but spooling similar to the smaller GT30 range turbos: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/426059-forced-performance-hta-turbos/

Was an awesome event, I will definitely be back again next year Bright's car was plagued by electrical gremlins -

Finally had enough sleep and have some time to sit down and read these chronicles, you didn't warn me it was 150 + pages of gay and farken with the occasional bit of build thread :-P All the same, awesome build as isn't a surprise having seen the final result - unless I skipped a page there wasn't much time spent talking about the black box really? Awesome car though, I knew bits and pieces about it before hand but really had no idea how much of a total package it is... Top effort in building what must be one of the best all around R33s out there :-D you guys may have a lot to answer for if I end up having to live off 2 minute noodles to fuel a reignited obsession :-) -
That is insane man, nice work - awesome wide power delivery! How does it drive? Any plans to hit the strip with it? Mentioned on the JEM page, unless the compressor profile from the 4094 has been tweaked there might not be a huge amount more flow left in it... Not that 700whp is anything to sniff at haha

Meh, they were good at the time - HTA3794 make them look silly :-D

When you make out like the T04S monsters the T04E compressor housing, I can't help but think of this turbo line up - features a Garrett GT40R, GT37R, GT35R, GT30R and a Borg Warner S200SX and S300SX to put everything into perspective:

I was aiming to get an EFR7670 for my R33 in the earlier days, and truth be told if the supply and reliability hadn't been a total fail I probably would have been caught in the moment and have one now - but that gave me heaps of time to sober up and I ended up parting out the old GT3076R setup and am pretty content convincing other people to spend their money and vicariously enjoy the results I probably wouldn't end up with an EFR unless I was building a serious race car. -

The ex-Willal drag R32 has twin EFR6758s, I am pretty sure one of the other EVOs is running an EFR8374, Tilton are running an EFR9180... So that's a few EFRs that will be on pretty rapid cars -
Nah the quickest GTS25T that I know of was marginally quicker and from the UK - ran 9.93 @ 140mph with the stock 5-speed gearbox back in 2006. Really frustrating that he swore he was going to push it to the next level, but then dumped an RB26 into it deciding (I guess it makes sense aside from the distinct fail of deciding an RB26 is the best of everything, hahaha) that he may as well go the best of everything. He did the 9.9 on 27psi, and had made 900whp on around 40psi - so it had the power to go much faster... he just never harnessed it

Alas, don't expect logic to dictate success. FP have been making turbos for 5 years which outperform the the GT and even the relatively new GTX range by a margain and they are still hardly considered or used ... at least in this part of the world. If you believe the chest puffing, Garrett are getting nearer to releasing their gasoline dualboost technology and potentially will move the bars for performance expectation for mid size turbochargers. -
Man those times are good, be interesting to see if this can crack the 30s at WTAC! Haha I wasn't too hurt
-
Wow!!! Nice work, I can't wait to see and hear this thing
-
Good luck for testing! The thing looks and sounds like an animal in the clip from yesterday, love it - should be intense with the power wound up to 11! The NZ non-GTR owners also coming over don't count?

No louder than a normal internal gate if it is plumbed back in From memory some Audis used external wastegates from factory haha -

Yummm. That is all. Next time need some load on it -
It's pretty much the same as low mounting a GT3582R - everything is pretty much the same as a GT3076R but the compressor housing is larger .70a/r T04S housing instead of .60a/r T04E one - slightly larger outlet

Hah yes - it wasn't a coincidence that I made that post Very keen to finally see how this Turbonetics + a whole pile of innovative ideas stuff works together. Good luck for tuning, when are we likely to hear results?

Seems a bit like this thread must be due for an update

Hopefully nothing too major causing the delay? How delayed?
