  4. honestly you will be forcing so much boost thru your engine you will be risking head gaskets. dont do the rb20 housing you will regret it. the gt28rs is a perfect turbo for a sr20. trust me you woll be happy with it.
  5. there is nothing wrong with the china copy coolers. they look quite good and do the job perfectly, however they are very heavy... I have had one and would have one again. However if i could find a gtr cooler for the same price i would pick the gtr cooler.
  6. throw in an engine and a gearbox and i will take it... dude you should put this in the parts section, its not a complete car
  7. yes thats the closest guess we can make .48... and it will not flow anywhere near enough... I guess you are buying the RB 20 version because you have a t3 style manifold? because the SR version is cheaper and there is nothing wrong with the standard SR manifold... you will be able to put out 300 with the SR manifold and a disco... Also they spool great!!! have been in 2 cars with them.
  8. I have had nitrous on a VG30de. I know it isnt turbo or an rb25, but i thought my input could help. Even a 50 shot at launch will give you a massive increase in exhaust gas flow. This will make your turbo spool a lot earlier, now depending on what sort of tyres you run that can either be a good or bad thng. If you do go for nos i would use it to get off the line spraying in first and not much else. Or go for a pressure switch set at say 10psi and have the pressure switch turn off the nos at anything over 10psi. I am not sure of the kit you are talking about but you will also need a purge system, bottle heater, and decent wiring, distrabution block for your solanoids. Nos can be a lot of fun at the track but in the wrong hands it will destroy your motor. and also be careful where you buy it from. whoever sells it needs a proper system to decanter it or you will be paying $100 for a bottle of air!!!
  9. Aristos are very nice cars. I drove one for a week when we were in japan 2 years ago. Even standard they are VERY fast however they are far from nimble thru corners. they are also the most stolen car in japan. and a lot of mafia types drive them. you will also find a lot of them have been converted to manual. also they are nearly all ugly green... Still I will be getting one when they come are available to be complied here.
  10. haha... Yeah I could lie and say i just put that counter there today, but i am not that popular... At least 46 people know what a nissan gloria is now
  11. [EDIT] seller has contacted me and we have sorted something out [EDIT][/size]
  12. Yes Turbo sold to CEf11E alright...... IT ARRIVED AND IT WAS A PLAIN BEARING TURBO SMALLER THAN A RB20 TURBO..... I asked the seller for the money back very nicely and he said NO... so he now has $200 of mine and i have a useless turbo........... SELLER NOT TO BE TRUSTED!!! NOT TO MENTION IT HAD A BLOWN OIL SEAL [EDIT] SELLER HAS MADE CONTACT WITH ME AND IN THE PROCESS OF SORTING SOMETHING OUT [EDIT]
  13. I would be looking at a new turbo Or get a RB25 or VG30 rear housing machined out to fit your turbo
  14. I would choose one over an R33 or a R32 GTST. they handle very well and have excellent torque. Infact bar the R32GTR they are the best import of their age IMO...
  15. Yep staff car needs a bare minimum of 170rwkw
  16. yeah pretty dissapointed, i have PM'd the guy who sold it to me, I will give him a chance to make right. EDIT he has done the right thing EDIT
  17. nah, its plain bearing..
  18. from a guy on these forums
  19. I was told it was an RB25 turbo. and i was going by the 45V2 comp cover.
  20. Geez that seems low. To get 190 i did the following with my RB20 Chipped ECU Walbro fuel pump RB25 turbo with VG30 exhaust housing FMIC FPR and did it at 14 psi... you should be making 220 with your mods. I think your turbo sounds like it may be the culprit. especially looking at the hard to read dyno graph. It looks like lots of lag and then tyre frying and then nothing.
  21. so its a PLAIN BEARING turbo. what is it off? cheers guys
  22. Oh, Ohhh thats no good!!! how can you tell? what do i look for to identify the difference between plain and BB centre Cheers
  23. I decided to redo the boot in my car and thought since its an 80s pimp style ride I would try and make the stereo in the boot fit the theme rather than going lots of neon. It fits in my boot against the back of the boot so when you open the boot all you can see is what looks like a huge oldschool boom box. :0 the front of the box is all padded and the brown material matches the rest of the interior. Check out the rest of the car here hope you guys like
  24. here is the other side
  25. sorted!!! thanks
