  1. A1RMs are also dusty! Maybe I'll look into Remsas as dust doesn't bother me in the slightest.
  2. It only sees the track every couple of months, I did grease the shims + pins etc. Not too bothered by it but I think I'll look into different pads next time I need some
  3. Mine were fine for 10k kms, now they are squealing also! I think i'll just ignore it, I just tell myself it's a racecar.
  4. Exactly what I thought when I bought my blitz return flow, time for a new cooler it seems.. What cooler was it Tao?
  5. I've actually been looking at both these items for purchase soon.,, I'm leaning towards getting the Greddy Type E Sandwich plate (Thermostat and 2 Sensor Ports, RHDJapan seems to be good for this), a cheap 19 row core such as mishimoto/coolingpro and aeroflow/speedflow lines and fittings.. It seems that price of all 'kits' are heavily inflated and it's cheaper buying separately. As for the LSD it seems the Nismo GT LSD 1.5 way is popular and probably for a reason, still need to look into it and will be following this thread
  6. Got any dyno results for the 7670? Will be eagerly awaiting your results!
  7. How about you grab a 7163 or a 7064 and tell me if it's nicer than your GTX3071 Then maybe i'll chuck one on my 34...
  8. Had the following setup for a local track day - - T3 Slotted Rotors F+R - Braided Lines - Nulon Dot 4 Fluid - A1RM Pads Couldn't be happier, no brake fade whatsoever but it wasn't a very fast circuit. Would recommend!
  9. Well I had my first track day.. Oil got to 130 deg after 2 laps, and water started to get close to the top of the dial after 3 so I had to backoff and let the car cooldown for 15 mins after every two laps, annoying to say the least! So next up is a new china radiator + mocal oil cooler, which will require battery relocation and new washerbottle/catch can Vid incoming of my terrible driving.
  10. Yes, I believe they can do suitable spring rates/damping to suit track only use. Perhaps email them.
  11. Little adjustment knob, most likely on the top sometimes on the bottom. Google for pictures of BC coilovers to give yourself an idea. The ones you have linked are damping adjustable by the look of it.
  12. Recently got some KU39. 245 on the front and 265 on the rear. Pretty reasonably priced at around $750 for the set. Dry grip not too much better than my previous nexen 7000s, but wet grip was much, much better. 6/10 Dry 8/10 Wet
  13. Nice seat. Comfy? Would love to get something like this but daily doesn't seem like the greatest idea. If you are going to buy a non-airbag wheel you could get the quick release that folds up out of the way, making it easier to get in
  14. Yes only the fronts, I'm sure you could get some GTR rear brakes and paint them the same colour. If I bothered changing calipers I'd probably just go straight for stoptech/alcon ect.
  15. Does the ABS need a bleed? If not I'll grab a pressure bleeder and run it for ages.
  16. I've got DBA 4000s and A1RM pads seem good so far but will be tested on my first ever track day on the 22nd of Nov, however since bleeding the brakes they intermittently have a soft pedal... even after bleeding 4 times over!
  17. I've already just painstakingly painted + purchased slotted rotors pads and lines. too late now. Stocker R34 brakes seem to hold up quite well for casual track duties it seems?
  18. I was considering doing an the evo brembo upgrade, alphaomega do a dogbone kit to fit evo brembos onto 355mm evo 10 rotors. Not a bad option considering you could get it done for under $1500.
  19. Not looking good.. Lot of the roll hub got sheered off.
  20. Cheers guys. 18 x 9.0 +35 (with a 10mm spacer to clear brakes) and 9.5 +38 245 and 265 tyres, KU39. Next is sway bars front and rear I'm thinking, getting a terrible knock from my front end which I believe might be a sway bar end link Then maybe a 1.5 Way and then I'll finally get onto power..
  21. Finally got rims + tyres on the car, did front and rear camber arms and front castor. Car has an aggressive alignment and handles amazing.
  22. Any reasonably priced suggestions? I was just surprised that on a stock setup it would get that hot..
  23. On the stock setup will an upgraded radiator help with oil temps at all? I find my oil temps getting to 120 deg c in summer on 40 deg days just cruising around with the stock radiator.
