  1. Not what I wanted to hear, make this choice even harder..Another idea is R32 GTR, as they can do both skids and the whole traction thing... Best fun I've ever had in my car, pants off situations included.

  3. Tossing up between making my R34 400hp ish and doing lots of track days or buying an evo ix. Mostly because the evo is a much newer car and it's easy to find one in immaculate condition and they make close to 280kw with a few boltons and e85. Would make a decent daily I think.
  4. Bought a 42mm ebay rad and put that in, I have a Greddy Oil cooler + Block sitting in my shed but yet to put it in yet as I'm probably going to sell the car soon and buy an Evo IX. Temps were fine on that track day although it was only 17 deg, oil sitting at 110 deg after 3 hard laps and water was fine. I'd say I'm going to need the oil cooler for summer track days if I end up keeping the car.

  6. Did you unplug the TPS? I believe that needs to be unplugged to lock the timing, picture of TPS plug from another thread

  9. I do agree, but if he is looking to replace the boost tee as a possible source of power loss then I think he should get an EBC whilst he is at it. There are many advantages/features in running one.
  10. If you've got the money it's probably worth investing in a good EBC. Can get the new Greddy Profec for around $400, turbosmart E-boost ect.

  12. I wouldn't think that the blitz return flow would be a restriction at only 230kw!
  13. I'm tall also at 6'3 and with a helmet on my head touches the roof, so I think I will be investing in a lower seat. Probably just go with a bride rail, fab is way out of the question for me haha.

  19. Just had a read, the difference in response is only a couple of hundred rpm. Doesn't seem to be worth the $1000++ at 300kw power level for an extra 10-20kw on top of the stock mani.
  20. That is indeed significant but I agree that it is hard to make that call. Did you pick up anymore power from the switch? When are you seeing full boost?
  21. That's certainly surprising, is that including the swap to external gate? Currently deciding if I should bother with 6boob and gate for 280kw
