  1. This is probably the best idea, as turning right from the New England Highway to the Royal can take ages due to oncoming traffic.
  2. I just checked and it's not doing it now, when it was happening for me it was before the recent major update
  3. I used to have this issue, so now I use the app. Also on Android, using the default browser though
  4. Going through rego in QLD atm I can vouch for this $380 state wide for Class 1 (i.e. Car and stationwagon) interestingly... $75 for ' vintage, veteran, historic or street rod motor vehicles'
  5. I love this car, it gives shows that power isn't everything, which is great cause I don't have any!!
  6. Queensland Raceway Open Sprints 2nd Oct anyone? Anyone heading to QR Sprints this Sunday?? Will be my first time there and first track day since moving back to Gold Coast. Keen to meet some track orientated people for motivation!
  7. Any car that's spent any time on the Gold Coast is going to have a high chance of rust, so close to the beach and so much salt in the air.
  8. or perhaps their drivers are the ones that are awesome...
  9. They look something like this: http://www.sau.com.au/forums/uploads/monthly_08_2011/post-87124-0-81814500-1313378870.jpg Can be bought from: http://rawsparts.com.au/product.php?id_product=98
  10. The one weekend I'm back in Sydney
  11. I could be wrong, and someone with more knowledge than I will surely come along and help, however, using the below pic of generic Zeal Coilovers as an example, the height adjustment is separate to the spring seat adjustment, so you should be able to adjust the Lower Spring Seat & Lock ring (2 rings below the spring) to fully captivate the spring at droop, (what effects this has on the ride comfort with pre-loading I don't know). The ring at the very bottom is the one used to adjust the ride height, so if this is what your coilovers look like, you should be fine without having to adjust the height. $1000 to install helper springs is ridiculous, pretty sure you can buy them for about $50, but I guess there is a lot of labour in removing, pulling apart, reinstalling and aligning. but you shouldn't need to do this. Hopefully.
  12. So much this.
  13. I may be there to spectate... contemplating renting a car to stay in the Top 5 hahaha...
  14. Thanks Genelle, both have been received and being processed, planning to post a batch out tomorrow.
  15. And it turns out my motherboard issues were PSU related, replaced with the EVGA 750W Gold and it's finally running well! and can game again!
  16. I just bought a $20 China-Spec Mechanical LED gaming keyboard, will let you know how it goes
  17. This really bums be out!! 5th place after not being able to attend
  18. I have many times, but I'm lucky enough to have a warehouse down the road I can go pick up from. ETA usually means it's instock at another store (from the one your selected on) and the last thing I ordered took about 2 days but it was only a small thing.
  19. lol somehow I had not even considered this as an option. will investigate!
  20. That's good cause I just installed one! I've just had a Gigabyte board cut out on me while playing a game, afterwards it wouldn't run with the graphics but would run fine without it except it wouldn't turn on immediately after shutting down (maybe 10 mins later after PSU turned off it would start) Luckily I had another one laying around (also Gigabyte) and that seems to be going ok, has cut out while gaming once, but I think it may be PSU overheating as it's sitting on carpet and maybe 1cm clearance, going to raise it and try again.
  21. Is there a benefit to this? I'm currently running 2x8GB but have a 4x4GB kit laying around as well
  22. beat me too it!
  23. I'm no expert, but here's my observations (and see a consistent theme cause I'm a tight ass), I can't comment on compatibility of any of the hardware though. 1. For actual purchasing I like to use Umart, i've had a look and most of these components are anywhere from $10 to $50 cheaper which adds up over nearly 10 components! I was gonna do the math out of curiosity but I'm technically meant to be working. They seem to have an adelaide pickup so not sure what postage would be. 2. Have you considered an M.2 harddrive for your OS? equivalent size it's cheaper and would be faster: (haven't actually taken this step myself but interested in it) http://www.umart.com.au/umart1/pro/Products-details.phtml?id=10&id2=159&bid=4&sid=240624 3. 1200W PSU seems waaaay overkill, so potential to save there if you want(?) 4. Might need/want to factor in general case ventilation, a lot of cases only come with 1 x fan 5. 32GB is way overkill for RAM so also potential to save if you want, a lot of people still recommend 8GB, I guess it depends what you're doing, but I'd recommend 16GB Hope that helps.
  24. Hey Ravi, Yes and thank you for renewing! Membership pack will be sent out this week. Cheers, Mathew
