  1. I was positioning the car, Haydon was taking photos
  2. Well the one with luna park is obviously there, if you turn around from where that pic was taken there's a little pier that goes out into the water, first 3 pics were taken on that...good place but hard to get a low car down the dip from the road. Last one was taken down opposite the subaru dealership in docklands, I think everyone has taken photos there I took some with the city in the background but they came out shitty. I have a very good place for next time too but need to be able to do something about the noise of the car before I can get it to the spot, might piss people off otherwise Thanks for the comments everyone
  3. Thought I would go out and take some night shots of my car, took heaps of photos but most of them came out too dark. Need to learn how to use the camera better.....I'm pretty happy with these though. Forgot to take a spanner to take the no. plates off though grrr! P.S. There's no half naked reflection of me in these photo's http://www.katech.com.au/Kyles/IMG_7592.JPG http://www.katech.com.au/Kyles/IMG_7600.JPG http://www.katech.com.au/Kyles/IMG_7620.JPG http://www.katech.com.au/Kyles/IMG_7640.JPG http://www.katech.com.au/Kyles/IMG_7709.JPG

See if you can get a part number of them and do a search for it on google. depends what you get anywhere from 300-1500 depends what you want, how much power you making/planning on, how bigs your pump, fuel reg, computer etc. you need to give more details if you want a good recomendation. mine? no idea, there of an RB26 so will fit one of them for sure

  7. i've got ultimates on my commodore and never had any problems with squeaking. If they make noise i woud say they haven't been bedded in properley. do get alot of dust with them though...... I always thought rda's were the better ones as the dba's crack.....
  8. 6, one for each cylinder there 440cc i think, if you are after new ones get aftermarket ones you'll end up paying less anyway for the same/better quality. If you want some stock ones i'll have some up for sale soon......
  9. thanks Tharaka, might have to go visit them at some point
  10. Anybody know anywhere I can get SX Fuel System Parts in Vic, the only people who seem to stock them are interstate. Just wanted to be able to go down and actually have a look at some of there stuff. And need a couple of new filter elements as well

  12. i'll be there too i might have to clean the car properley during the week so I have a chance
  13. Probally not because if you hit somebody you'd mash them with all the 'sharp' bits. Doesn't mean I would think twice about doing it and I see plenty of cars driving round every day missing front and rear bars. As long as it's not for an extended period i'd say it'd be ok...
  14. Hi All, This is for all the people who are just going up to spectate/help out on Saturday. If you are leaving on Saturday morning and competing you'll have to leave earlier to make scruitineering, about 5:30ish I been told but that’s too early for us spectators When are we leaving? Saturday Morning - Depart approx 8am Meeting point address: Shell Roadhouse Hume Hwy Donnybrook VIC 3064 Melway 365 C5 Meet Time: 7.30am Depart Time: 8:00am Bring: Adequate Fuel CB Radio - Channel 14 Tour Leader: The person who has been there before or knows the way I am and everyone else I talked to who's going up Saturday is pretty flexible with times so if you wanna leave earlier (not too early) or later we probably can

  18. Daalder exhaust is the place to go, a few friends of mine have had their cars tested there. Good helpful guys with a sense of humor too
  19. That was something I noticed too, I reckon average age of people there was no more than about 18. Although the girls do pay alot more attention to you when your taking photos with a DSLR over the 20odd kids with various phones Good job to the SAU guys as well the stand looked awesome, I walked around it a couple of times while I was there saturday arvo but I didn't see anyone I recognised to say hello to.... Also anybody know the reason for all the computer stuff down the end?
  20. i'm definatley in for this, will have to put in some effort and smooth out my 'rear vortex generators' so it doesn't look like my car is falling appart
  21. either that or look up your yellow pages and find a shop that sells firbeglassing and moulding stuff, they will be able to help you out with supplying a proper fine weave glass (the bunnings kit's I have seen are only chopmat). Using a fine weave glass over chopmat will give you a better result with 'sharper edges' especially as it's only a small component. To make the mould don't worry about making the inside mould just make the reverse one with the insert to begin with, polish the insert up with some floor polish so that it doesn't stick to the plaster mould. Then when laying the glass polish the inside of the mould with the same stuff so the resin doesn't stick to it. For best finnishing results either do a gelcoat layer (this is easy and you dun have to mess around with sanding and painting and shit) the gelcoat layer just gets painted in before you lay the glass. The way they get the really shinny finnish is they use a 2pac paint and gloss out of a gun. Because it's an interior panel just bog it up with carbog to smooth it out and get a good surface for painting. The sliding panel is a bit beyond me though, if I was gonna do that I would just use a plastic piece and paint it the same and find some plastic U channel for it to slide on and use some glass and resin to fix it into the back of the insert, as for keeping it open perhaps a small magnet or something.....
  22. I'm in for cruises, just tell me when and where
  23. Sounds good, Only thing I can think of that isn't really needed but is always good to have is a adjustable fuel pressure regulator, something like a SARD or SX one.
  24. My daily beast, it's on gas so it's nice and cheap So if you see some crazy guy in it waving at you in your skyline now you know who it is
  25. Get a dremel and cut a slot in the head of the screw and use a flat blade screwdriver to get it out....just don't go as deep as to cut the head in half That or yeh file the sides flat and go at it with some vice grips.
