You are not wrong mate, they are different and not interchangeable.
-
Apparently Altima dashes are the go for left hand drive conversions
-
Welcome Anthony, you will have to get used to driving a right hand drive, the last Skyline built as left hand drive was the R31.

Heres a link to the amayama listing https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/nissan-japan/skyline/er33/3905-rb25de/trans/327 Good luck Riley33
-
Yes that's it. Amayama have the speed sensor but not the drive cog, now just google the part number and you will find other suppliers who do have stock, (Concord parts USA have stock)the 21 tooth drive cog was used on many different Nissans No-one ever said finding parts for 23 year old JDM vehicles would be easy.

25bigbox no 5th????
Rusty Nuts replied to 2jzvstheworld's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
Take it back to the reco merchant who built it and ask him nicely to fix it (ie install 5th gear selector fork) I have found taking my 6 foot 4 110kg son with me on these missions gets fast positive action. -
Welcome Liam, your R34 looks pretty good in the happy snaps you provided, Mate you should see some of the shitboxes running round the sunshine coast masquerading as "rool cool skylines".

RB25DE Auto in limp mode?
Rusty Nuts replied to MixedMag's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
Mate you are shameless, you have changed half the engine bay components, but for two years you didn't check the fuses. Incredible. -

Mind you I reckon a five speed behind the Turbo engine would help heaps on long distance drives, the 5th is only a push button overdrive after all, if you dont press the button you are driving a four speed. -

Have you checked the Brown plug situated on a bracket near/below the fuse box. It is clustered with two other plugs and if disconnected or damaged will lock the auto in third, find it, unplug and clean with electrical cleaner. If you cant find it let me know, I will photo the plug and post it (just not now its pissing with rain) -

Sorry Ben, you are completely wrong the de auto R33 is a 5 speed or 4 speed. Only turbo's and very late de's are 4 speed. -
No worries Dimitriy , the pictures you posted told the story anyway. Good luck mate.

R33 C4 automatic conversions
Rusty Nuts replied to r33GTS-t-200kw's topic in R Series (R30, R31, R32, R33, R34)
This is just dumb, use a RE4R03A as found in Z31tt and other nissans, it fits without adapter plates (use R01A bell housing) ,doesn't use frankenstein converter, no panel beating involved, and standard easily handles 600hp+. Only fabrication needed is new front driveshaft section and manual valvebody with transbrake for launch. If you have more neddies than 600 there are literally dozens of manufacturers around the world who sell upgrade components. Its a far better alternative than a C4, been there, done that, got the R03A. Th400, Trimatic, C4 Into A R33 ?
