Top item is supposed to dissipate heat as well as reflect Bottom more or less reflects. I've freshly painted my engine bay and before I get stuck into putting things back together I wanted to do something like this to keep the heat out of the cabin and also protect my paint & carbon bonnet. (Although this sort of wrap might not be ideal for a rough surface it seems).
  3. Hey mate. Keen to hear more about the ATI balancer and the change required to the R33 pump to suit Am in a similar position with an RB25 build and not sure about the Ross balancers.

  5. RB20/25 Blitz single plate clutch & lightened flywheel Sprung centre (same clutch as the ORC 409D) Comes with correct release bearing. Has done about 15,000km with 260-280rwkw. Good for 300-320rwkw A hand full of track days and a drag day on the clutch. Replacing due to upgrade to twin plate & bigger capacity motor. Very drivable and plenty of meat left on the clutch plate
  6. What oil restrictors did you use in the 25? Being non VCT, blocked rear and a 1mm?
  7. Not the same as silver top. There are conversion kits online for 300zx to fit Silvertop coils and plugs. Better to get newer electronics or go Silvertop loom and sensors for the whole engine.

  10. Are both the AAC and IAC still in use? My 20 hunted on cold start until I refitted the cold start valve. I thought it was the aftermarket plenum, but once I had all the factory sensors back and wired it was like factory.
  11. That's my concern. Too small for the 2.5L. The L2 with 8cm rear should make 315 according to the trust book. Compressor side is the issue. Cropped wheel and all. 45 degree curve and out of puff very early I believe is what to expect. Perhaps just go with it and see what it does on the dyno?
  12. What were the Kinugawa like? I can get a T67-25G with trust housing from them. The brand whore in me says stay Trust. But it's over double the price. Not keen on getting the L2 modified. Will either swap for a Trust T67 or keep I for a rainy day.

  17. Flap peak for life!!! If 25de'd were cheap like they were 10 years ago I would almost go down a similar route. I've seen one other R33 RB25 TT. An R31 passage, customer car at R31 house. Think it had an FCon ECU. Was pretty impressive
