i mean if someone is going to pay you to do sql server and code etc then go for it but as far as managing it, adminstration of it etc oracle is better and bulletproof on solaris

oracle is way better than sql server windows & sql servers = sucky oracle on solaris is bulletproof
  3. www.nengun.com 499-X001 D - Jetero Map Sensor X 1 49C-A002 Sensor harness 3P For Boost con 415-A001 AU $ 43.97 check your PFC has the 3 pin boost socket on the side, if so, the one above is correct thats what i brought
  4. denso one with the exact part # any other map sensor, wont be in the same voltage range, and would show different pressure to what is being sensed ie; it would show 2.1v and 14PSI but the PFC is expecting the denso voltage range, and 2.1v is actually 8PSI according to the PFC (for example)
  5. nobody haha your all suckers

  8. just see a normal commodore/falcon towbar place its a fairly normal car, if they do most cars, they could do your skyline
  9. he means version 6 front
  10. happy birthday nut man - all the best and take it easy
  11. thats because the bend pipes are to suit the 65mm diameter AFM and not the 80mm apparently you can stretch the rubber piping over the 80mm diameter, but be careful it might break?
  12. ah good spot, my bad sorry yes BCNR33 PFC does not have VH41 as an AFM Ramp option but i can be copied from another PFC no problems with datalogit as trent said
  13. you are correct in that the ignition timing is locked at idle what would affect the timing however would be any correction such as water, air, battery, boost etc these all play a part and could drive the timing up or down, but this again, shouldn't be applied at idle check out SETTING, ING/INJ which is the temp adjust, it shows you the realtime IGN value the FC is reading from the with correction applied compare that to what you see at the CAS for any clues
  14. whats the point? why not just tune the car for the maximum possible safe boost you can run and use the avcr tuning ability to curve the duty to correct wheelspin etc most people break things when their car is setup for a safe level and they have a switch to go higher "for short runs" if you run higher, why not run higher all the time
  15. you select VH41 on the AFM menu to use the Q45

    what are they moving to
  17. different afm, different injectors and your trying stock or remapped ECU's ? and you wonder why it doesn't idle.... ? please either dont drive the car or install the PFC, set the AFM, set the injector correciton and baby it around until you get it tuned properly dont even bother loading it up, or bringing it on boost, its likely to be unsafe and you'll break something
  18. right click and choose "Map Ref Labels" it will show you what the load and RPM axis translate to in RPM and PIM kgcm2
  19. simpsons did it, simpsons did it, simpsons did it been covered to death look and post in here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/RB...sions-f184.html
  20. as per the documentation, the djetor kit from memory ships with a 2 bar map sensor this does not mean it will read 2 bar boost. its far from that, its actually 2 bar pressure, so vacuum and positive pressure youll find the stock map sensor won't go past 1.3 bar (again from memory, the documentation states this) because its 1 bar negative, and 1 bar positive so a 3 bar map sensor is probably what you need
  21. yeah well the mods can't give out the users IP address because that would violate privacy laws you have no requirement to know the IP Address of the user is, so you won't get it if you wanted it, you contact the police, identify what crime has occured, they will then source the relevant information necessary to identify who the real person is (ip address is one of them) and then investigate from there. you still wont be given the ip address, but they would use it to investigate and contact the relevant netblock owner to help the investigate and identify the source
  22. hi guys just a reminder to use common sense when buying things online particuarly car parts at "cheap" prices and clear out sales online one that came to my attention -> http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/R3...ie-t273165.html looks like a big bunch of users have been scammed by this one what form of payment protection is available? can you pay at pickup of the item? can you do it via paypal with insurance? if buying interstate, particulary for large items or items worth serious $ - ie over $500 - can you buy it locally? it makes it easier to pick up, inspect the goods, and hand over the $ when you have the item in your hand, instead of via post and bank xfer how long has the guy been on the forums for? does he have feedback? has anyone met the guy/girl in real life before? do they post often? do you have a VALID reason for trusting the dude and volunteering your money to them on a trust basis? i mean if BassJunky was sellin a pair of brake calipers he is fairly well known, lots of feedback etc but if NismoR32Power was a new user who joined 2 months ago, why would you trust him? does anyone know him etc? if someone wants bank xfer to sell something i would send $5 to secure the purchase and then hands the rest over when you picked up the item. its just crazy to xfer $$$'s of dollars to random people and "hope" you get your parts please be careful
  23. you guys are absolutely crazy - you just volunteer to bank xfer money with no protection at all???? hell send me money and ill "sell" you BNR34 parts that i "have".... looks like you've all been had guys you guys give up your money way too easily
  24. i just dont see the point of recalibrating the GTR afm's for such a high price surely it would be better off to sell them and buy nismo's or Gtst ones if the tuner was stupid enough to tune with maxing AFMs then you have no choice but to dump in heaps of fuel to account for all varying loads beyond that point so whilst it would still work, its not exactly a great idea. the only difference between a maxing AFM and a map sensor setup as adriano pointed out, is the map sensor has a bit of insurance outside the scope both give you less load points however...
