  1. you're in melb right? they will have one at: Performance Jap Specialist 4B merri crt Campbellfield ph 9357 0658 ask for Prassana
  2. you sound shocked: codeine is available over the counter... ever bought panadene? active ingredients are paracetamol AND codeine (great for pain , terrible for your liver )
  3. basketball is a killer for skyline drivers! about 6 weeks ago, i tore a ligament in my ankle playing basketball its better than a break because you don't need plaster, but a bad tear is also worse because even now 6 weeks later there is still pain and a small amount of swelling. when a break heals, its good as new
  4. sorry to hear mate so when it actually blew, what rpm were you at? i've always wondered if this sort of thing happened at low rpm and a high load, or at high rpm were egt's are obviously high... Warren.
  5. for a cheap yet thorough service, i can HIGHLY recommend: highpoint automotive obviously located at highpoint shopping centre (maribrynong) across the road at the end of white street ph 9318 2076 guy who runs it is Paul and is a friend of the family. he is a very good mechanic and doesn't charge and arm+leg like the more fancied places obviously if you are after a dyno tune then this is not your place, but for any kind of service or repair, you can't go wrong... tell him that Warren with the Blue skyline recommended you
  6. really?? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=74693 then why are you making bids on products in the FS section?
  7. so you sent them... and you have the postage reciepts... then what does this have to do with your "friend" that you claim has screwed you? so, either a) there's been problem with postage - unlikely... how often does that happen, and how often to 2 people... B) there was no turbo, there was no postage, there is no reciept, and the cash is sitting in your bank account Waz.
  8. air is denser when cold, and expands when hot so a pressure of 30 when cold and 35 when hot would be about the same personally i keep my tyres at 32psi (when cold)... why 32? well my mate's dad owns a tyre shop and that's what he recommends for even wear over the tyre thus maximum tyre life Warren.
  9. neither do i, but its hard not to be when you read his post... its a public forum remember. no one is forcing you to read it but lets leave it and get back on topic...
  10. hey davor, 2.75" will be very droany on an NA i personally wouldn't go over 2.5" (i can remember by old 3L NA supra that has 2.5" and itself was very droany when cruising - annoyed all my passengers) i think the secret is to have as large a resonator as you can to keep the droan down but keep the flow and exhaust note
  11. you're right, i was being a bit harsh... i have retracted my comment nice to see you can be mature about it all, hey?
  12. some people just ooze verbal diarrhoea...
  13. my exam is next thurs (16th) so i'm out will be drunk at midday and passed out by 4pm...
  14. ooooh i had an MA70 supra... will be like old times...
  15. IT of 56deg? someone has been playing with the figures a bit...
  16. similar to the rules already in place in melb... except the distinction is not "turbocharged, supercharged, or v8", its a power-to-weight ratio of 125 kW/tonne based on the car's stock figures... i think its good to have some sort of regulation, but where do you draw a line?
  17. what about a stock GTR bumper? i know on the R32's the original GTR bumper is plastic and fits on a GTSt with some modification to the bar...
  18. high-flow panel filter in standard airbox is your friend...
  19. if its an rb20 turbo then its a T3...
  20. yeah have heard of your probs can't borrow someone's car for the evening?
  21. what's your budget? i would say go the rb25 easily... after all it won't end up stock for long but if your budget doesn't permit, then go for the rb20 and you still won't be dissappointed...
  22. here's some food for thought: R32 GTST + hacksaw = 2L turbo ute
  23. hey mate, timer going great! thanks again... yeah i could get an exhaust shop to make it but i figure less hassle if someone already has one made. if all else fails, will get it done by an exhaust shop Warren.
  24. does it have the cat shell around it, or just the replacement pipe?
  25. oops, i didn't see that he edited the first post... i was looking for a new post with the details my bad... will see you all there!
