well they are very small pieces, much smaller than you would think, but they could charge an arm and a leg because they are not very common...

is this the toll thing in the upper glove box? isn't that hidden from sight? or are you referring to another toll thing in the car?

i'm after the OEM paddle shifters from the V35 350GT-8 sedan, in black so if i just show up at a nissan dealer in australia then they could sort it out? i figure it might be quite espensive new through a dealer..

hi, for those in japan, i wanted to ask you a question about car wreckers.. i've been looking for a part for my V35 skyline for a few weeks on yahoo auctions but not many standard/OEM parts seem to come up. my question is: do they have many wreckers in japan (like justjap and the likes we have over here), that hold a heap of front cuts and happen to sell parts online like justjap do? i was hoping i'd be able to source something very small from a V35 front cut from japan and it seems stupid waiting forever watching yahoo auctions for a part that seems like its never going to show up..! i appreciate any help that anyone is able to provide cheers, Warren

i upgraded from an R32 GTSt to my V35 350GT about 2 months ago.. why? well i decided that i no longer wanted a car that every 18yo hoon drives. that and i hate the fact that i duck whenever a drive past a cop car. the yelling from my neighbours about the noise at 7am didn't help and this was just when i was idling in the garage.. so i wanted a more sophisticated car that suited the fact that i will be a doctor in 2 years.. looked at BMW/mercedes but they are overpriced and underpowered. the V35 has gotten excellent reviews and for its age, the price is amazing. search google for reviews on the G35 in the USA i think the coupe looks amazing from all angles. some like it, some don't. again, most with R32/R33/R34's don;t like it - and this is what draws me to it! i like the fact that its not for younger drivers and more of a sophisticated ride. the car is quicker in a straight line than my GTSt and handles very well. probably not as sharp in the twisties as my R32 but hey it had bilstein suspension so it wasn't exactly stock the best thing is that it has heaps of comforts and is very luxurious inside. if i had to re-think it all over again, i would not hesitate to get another V35. the best motoring decision i have made. ever.

ok, i used the suede water protecting stuff on the seats today.. the sets feel exactly the same as per before, and there was no change in the colour of the suede or anything. in fact, its impossible to tell that i've even sprayed them.. i'm letting them dry fully overnight tonight i didn't use it on the leather as its pretty resiliant anyway. i just used leather conditioner/protectant

panadol (paracetamol) has no effect on the immune system.. that's just a myth but hey its up to you, you can take soil mixed with lavendar leaves and pray over it facing north if that will float your boat. all i know is the evidence says paracetamol works and it is a very benign drug in low doses..

lung butter.. haha nice description.. you've got myalgia which is just part of the deal with viral illnesses.. general muscle soreness your shoulders and hips will probably hurt also but don't worry its just muscle pain that will go when the infection clears again, if you're taking paracetamol for your fevers, this has the dual action of helping the muscle pain

Price Of The Current V35

plus you then get the paddle shifting and cvt gearbox -
markimak, that's terrible to hear, sounds very flu-like to me some things you can do that are known to help: - paracetamol helps reduce fevers as its an antipyretic, and should also reduce aches and pains as its also an analgesic. don't take more than 4 to 6 grams per day - water/powerade helps keep you hydrated, as when you're sweating a lot you can lose more fluids than usual. powerade is good as it helps replenish salts also. drinking too much water is not great either as it can cause low sodium in the blood, you need salts + water. - sudafed - this contains pseudoephedrine, which acts to help reduce symptoms associated iwth nasal congestion by constricting blood vessels that go to the nose. this doesn't alter the course of any viral illness that has already had systemic effects, such as you describe, but can help with symptoms. some things not to take - prednisolone was mentioned by someone above. besides the fact that you can't get it over the counter it is not what you want to be taking. it has many effects, one of which is to dampen the immune system (called immunosuppression) and this will actually allow the virus to work better there are some influenza-specific medications such as tamiflu but i don;t think anyone would prescribe them without taking a nasal swab to confirm the virus. and by the time the results come back you will be better anyway.. if you don't feel better by monday you really should go and see a GP so they can assess you properly. these viral things are self-limiting so just try to stick it through..

you should all have had your flu vaccination a few months back when it came out... just remember, the actual influenza infection is not a simple "cold".. if you have the proper flu then you will know it (ie you'll be in bed, and have fluids coming out every orifice) and as far as fatalities go, have you got a link to any article about it? the last fatalities were in perth where 2 kids with influenza also had a superimposed staph infection (bacterial infection also) and they became septic, the rest being history. its very rare that just having the flu will kill anyone... also, i haven't seen many with influenza out at prince charles..

Upgrading From An R34
WazR32GTSt replied to NO_RSPECT's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
see this is a point that we should be making here.. if you drive one you will realise that it is a quick car sans turbocharger i would go as far as saying it is as quick if not quicker than my R32 GTSt that i spend way too much $$ on its very surprising to drive personally coming from a 2L engine with no torque to a beautiful engine with loads of torque and power and best yet, its not a hoons car.. its not the car that all the wankers that roam the wasteland want to drive.. it doesn't attract the "fully sick" morons.. -
chris, can i just ask a couple of questions about what you are getting organised.. is this a solution for those already with the nav screen, or does this add a separate screen? what are you incorporating in this? gps only, or gps/dvd, or gps/dvd/tv? cheers, Warren

Upgrading From An R34
WazR32GTSt replied to NO_RSPECT's topic in V Series (V35, V36, V37 & Infiniti)
geoff, i find it hard to workout exactly what you are asking, but i'll offer these points if it can help you in any way: - the 350GT has fold down rear seats so in actual fact the boot becomes HUGE once the seats are folded down and can hold very long items - eg fishing gear - the coupe and sedan versions have exactly the same leg room just that the sedan had slightly more head room and has a middle seat - so the coupe is not to be written off - the 350GT does 0-100 in 6.0sec so is not a slow car by any means - might be slightly slower with the CVT transmission - it has heaps of room for taller blokes like me and you (i'm 6"4 and i know you're tall) so if i can offer any help at all i say get your wife a 350GT in ivory pearl, my girlfriend thought it looked amazing in the white colour and its much more suited to females than silver or black i personally believe. -

Getting A Car Checked Out Before Buying/geniune Ks?
WazR32GTSt replied to anomaly's topic in Queensland
yeah but did they pick up something that you didn't? i mean, if you are looking for a car, then surely you should know what you are looking for and should be able to pickup accident repairs or an engine leaking oil/water. all i see that a mechanic could do is a compression test the rest ayone else should be able to pickup..
